Is everyone slow or is it just me ?

I usually sell at least 3 items per day and there is always best offers or sales that were made overnight when i check in the morning.

I have not sold anything for the past 5 or 6 days and i'm down almost 40 percent now.

I have listed items that normally sell within a few hours and are not selling at all.

Is it just me ? Or is everyone down ?

It's not just retail either.

I work hotel front desk and this past weekend which should have been sold out weeks earlier (Sunday was the annual Bloomsday run) we were only at 75% capacity.

People come from all over the world to run, as well as the US and this week's paper reported it was the lowest turnout in years.

People just aren't spending.

Ive been rolling pretty good on ebay . My Amazon sales have been horrible for about a month.

I have been a seller on Ebay for over 10 years.  This Spring is the slowest i have seen in all that time!  I usually sell 3 to 4 things a day and I have been selling 2 to 3 a week since March.  I sell seasonal merchandise and have lost of summer and coastal items listed right now.

I have also noticed that my views are way down!  Some items have had only 4 or 5 views in alost a month!

I am thinking of closing my store at the end of the month. 

I have tried doing some auctions and even those starting a low bids of $0.99 are not selling!

I have no idea what is going on?

No, you aren't the only one.  Last year this time I was selling 10-15 items a week consistently.  For the past couple of months I don't even break 10 a week, some weeks as low as 5 per week.  I am down over 50% from last year in other words.

I have some very pretty spring and summer items listed and this should be the time of year they should be buying it.  Don't know what's going on, even my viewers are down.  Has eBay totally lost it's mojo?

its really just starting to feel like its over with online selling.. I have over 5 thousand listings between here and the river and I have a whopping 2 sales for the day . should be selling 30 to 50 items a day but now its a struggle to get 5 to 10 sales a day .. I will get a few days like it seems like sales are working then it just goes back to the slump.  definately depressing to be this slow .

I hadn't sold anything in 12 days. (Finally sold something tonight) This is highly unusual for me. I normally sell at least one thing every day. I don't know what is going on.

Probably old news to many but I have been experimenting with the search to see if and where anyof my items show up.

I typed in 4 or 5 keywords in a title. Pretty distinctive. The first, maybe 10, items matched the keywords. Then just semi-related items came in. Then the search just ended as though there was nothing else to show that fit that criteria.

Needless to say my item was never listed.

Sales were good until about 2 weeks ago when I've seen a big drop off in sales. Today I'm not even mailing since I haven't been paid for the 2 items that did sell.  For a long time I've followed the list-more, sell-more approach but right now I'm also pushing auctions in an attempt to make up for fixed price being so slow.

I sold 2 items yesterday. I'm on a roll !

Then iobit decided to renew my subscription and took every dime that i made right out of my PP account--Bunch of thives with a total POS product.I canceled the transaction and reported it to pay pal.

Stuff like that really pevers me.

So ! how is your day going ?

So far today by 10am I have 1 Amazon sale. If I manage to eek out another sale or two today I'll do the mail. Otherwise I don't feel like going out in the rain. I'll just sit here and list and hope to shake some sales loose.
