I have received 7 day suspension for trademark infringement on coach purse. This is my second violation. The first involved 2 Coach purses that were removed. This time 1. I have a friend who will remain nameless ( because Coach doesn't authenticate) who works at the outlet in Nashville who verified two of the three were authentic. Yes one was counterfeit. I now run the all by her after the first listing was removed. Now the other one has been removed and have been restricted all though authentic. Is all this Coach policing against the first sale doctrine (slapp) if I am selling authentic especially since this has happened to many people on here who are receiving the same harrasment. I understand looking out for counterfeit but it seems more likely it's because we aren't liscensed retatilers. Any help would be appreciated thanks

That said, I did a bit of googling of your ID and Coach. Although I wasn't able to find much, I did find a listing entitled "Coach Patchwork Hobo Handbag Purse #10808."
Is that one of your listings that got removed? Is that one of the bags your friend who worked at Coach "authenticated?"
I recommend you post on the fashion board.
This a question for the OP, but I quoted albertabrightalberta for context.
Yes, I even recommend you compare the 2 you have listed with the same number/style. I don't know if they are both fake, but they are clearly different. At least one of them isn't real. Is that the one you found out was a fake?
Ok, I see another 10809 that is slightly different looking from the other 2. This has to be a red flag. Yes, there will be some small variations between purses (where the fabric is cut maybe) but not that different. I'm no expert, just a shopper and owner of a couple Coaches, and this doesn' t look right at all. I'm not accusing you of anything, if nothing else just warning you to be more careful in the future if you continue to sell.

Are you referring to designer items?
If so, purchase them from the original store or from authorized ones. Save all receipts and even show them in your listing description - black out any personal information.

100% on a different platform you will NOT have this problem with coach.
I can't think of any legitimate platform that allows the sale of a counterfeit item.

robots....people from coach aren't sitting around flagging these bags. it's done because they don't want people reselling their bags successfully- which makes their new bags not as popular since they are more expensive. my thoughts at least. it's intention is not to protect from fakes...it's become more than than. greed.
Incorrect. There are hundreds of AUTHENTIC Coach items sold on eBay every single day with no issues whatsoever. OP already admitted to listing one counterfeit bag and their only claim to the authenticity of the others is a supposed friend who works for the Coach outlet and said they were real, which holds absolutely no water as anyone who knows anything about designer goods knows that store employees cannot and will not authenticate items for you. If the OP didn't buy those other bags from a store themselves, chances are very good that they're counterfeit as well. The secondhand market is absolutely full of counterfeit Coach bags-- I'm no Coach expert, but even I can tell that a lot of the ones that I see at my local thrift stores are fake.
