Because I have so few items listed, it's easy for me to catch some things that other sellers might miss because they have so many listings.
I purposely do not log in from my phone so that I can see my listings as a buyer might see them.
When I view my items, there is always a number of items at the top of the page. Currently, it says, "Search all 51 items" (but I have more than that listed).
Starting this morning, my item count is off by two when viewing my listings by account, but not logged in.
Two of my items do not show up in items that I have listed. From my Seller Hub, I have 53 items listed.
I figured out which ones are missing. I don't know why they are invisible. They are NOT two recently listed items. One item was listed on Oct. 24, and the other was listed Aug. 18th.
Has anyone else looked at your listing count while not logged in, and realized that some are not being shown to potential buyers? Please try it and see what you come up with. I'm very curious.

It is pretty clear from this page that 56 items are being shown.....so the "search 53" is certainly off for some reason.............

any ideas on what's wrong?
apologies for posting on the wrong thread.

After struggling for some time in circles I finally was able to find a way to send ebay an email:
"Under the following URL I have 4 active listings (domain names for sale): https://www.ebay.com/mys/active
(and the following URL as well: https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active) Yet when I search on ebay's search for my domains that are listed on ebay they do not appear in search. Your automatic agent is useless in this case and sends me in circles. I tried to log out of my ebay account and searched for my domains under all kinds of parameters, but as a buyer (acting as buyer in the test I made) I was unable to find my own listings on ebay. Why is this so? No wonder they are not selling because they are invisible."
If ebay wants us to promote our listings they should clearly state that one's listing will not be visible anywhere until they promote it. Since they do not disclose that they are probably breaking some rules or directives of commerce.
Reply received from ebay support:
"Thank you for contacting eBay Customer Service. My name is R******sh I am happy to assist you today.
I understand your concern regarding visibility of your active items. Let me look into it. Due to listed in wrong category the visibility has been affected.
While reviewing your profile, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your loyalty to eBay over the past 22 years.
Upon reviewing your concern and your account I have noticed that you have listed your digitally delivered goods in wrong category as a result our system is considering it as manual delivery product. Such types of goods should be listed under “Classified ads” format only. Allow me to share everything in details.
MY OWN REMARK: My domains are listed at the following category:
Specialty Services »»
Web & Computer Services »»
Domain Names
<<< Resolution >>>
I would suggest you list you digitally delivered goods under “Classified ads” format only. As the items that people download from a web site or receive by email as long as:
-- You use the Classified Ad format.
-- You list your items in the Everything Else > Information Products category only.
Below are the steps to list your digital products as classified ads:
1. You have to choose appropriate category for listing the product in classified ads.
2. Correct category is: “Everything Else > Information Products > Other Information Products”.
3. Scroll down to “selling details section”, where you will find “Format”:
4. Keep format as “classified ad”.
Electronically delivered goods can only be listed by eBay approved sellers and must follow our policy.
Due to the nature of electronically delivered goods, extra care needs to be taken to prevent intellectual property infringement and minimize risks for buyers.
What is the policy?
Electronically delivered items that are not allowed, include:
· Software keys the seller is not authorized to sell
· Digital copies or codes of movies that were included as part of purchasing a physical movie item. The seller needs to include the physical disk with the sale of the digital copy or code
· Sellers need to be eBay approved to list electronically delivered items outside of the Everything Else > Information Products category
· Sellers not approved by eBay to list electronically delivered items need to list their items in the Everything Else > Information Products category in the classified ad format.
Exceptions to this policy include electronically delivered:
1. Tickets
2. Domain names
3. Digital trading cards
4. Online gaming virtual items
To comply with this policy, sellers must clearly state that they legally own the information or that they've been authorized to sell it.
You can list digitally delivered goods--generally items that people download from a web site or receive by email--as long as:
-- You use the Classified Ad format.
-- You list your items in the Everything Else > Information Products category only.

MY REMARK: I wish ebay guide sellers during listing process. In this case I wasted months of time and had zero result and visibility. Ebay continued relisting my listings without even noticing me that they were in the wrong category: listed as domain names under domain names (wrong category I suppose).
I am not sure if ebay support suggested the correct category for domain names (Everything else »» Information Products) since when I tried to change the category there were parameters that match physical goods (such as condition and returns, which can not be applied to domain names = ebay is a mess!) and ebay's interface still suggested me to list at the category that I was already listing which is "Domain names" and which makes sense. Is ebay support misleading me, leading to a fiurther confusion or are they obfuscating the fact that they are unwilling to make my listings visible for some unknown reason. I don't think if I relist my domain names under "Information Products" they will magically become visible, but I will try and post the result below.
The result is _ I was unable to list it under the suggested category since it does n ot make any sense and I got the following warnings in red:
