A bidder won my auction, and then when I went to check the shipping details, it said it was going to be a local pickup and the buyer’s address was from a different country. The problem is, I did not add those two options to my listing? I only listed it as shipping in the US. I don’t understand what went wrong. I canceled the order (as something wrong with buyers address) before they paid and let them know what was going on. Is there some way the buyer can change the shipping option or something?
I don’t know if this is also worth noting, but the buyer joined ebay in 2020 and had 0 feedback or any kind of history.

Go to account/site preferences/ buyer requirements and check off ‘block buyers with a primary address in a country that I don’t ship to’ Once you do that, if a buyer doesn’t have a shipping address in a one of your ‘ship to’ countries, they won’t be able to bid or buy.

As far as I know, a buyer can only change the shipping option if multiple methods are listed..which I dont see on your listing. To block foreign buyers permanently, go to My Ebay, in preferences and block them.

You can cancel the transaction as Problem with Address with no prejudice.
