Insertion fee - wrong

Hello dear community!

Today I decided to edit several of my lots and noticed in one lot - Total fees for selected listing: $ 0.30 (I did not make confirmation of editing).

This lot was put up on Good 'Til Canceled and I did not choose any additional options and advertisements and did not exceed the number of free ads per month.

As a result, I see in Review fees - Insertion fee $ 0.30.

I don’t understand why this Insertion fee was charged to me.

How can I find out what this Insertion fee is for and how can I cancel it?

I do not know if it is possible to provide a link to this item here?

Regards.

OP is in Russian Federation.  They stated UP Thread they get 350 free/month.

Your statement is wrong.

I am aware that I have a subscription to Standard Store.

I have 350 free Good 'Til Canceled ads and 250 free Auction ads per month.

I am editing Good 'Til Canceled ads and editing has nothing to do with the free posting limit.

If I had posted (not edited) an ad and received $ 0.30 - then there are no questions, this fee could have been charged for exceeding the free limit.

But in this case, too, I have an unspent limit of 140 free ads in the Good 'Til Canceled format.

So by ...

But thanks for your opinion.

OP is listing on eBay.com, and the fees on eBay.com are the same no matter where the seller is. To the best of my knowledge, the store fees are the same as well. They may vary on different eBay sites, but not for sellers with the same subscription on the same eBay site.

I believe that OP is mistaken about what store level they have, because the data says they have a starter store, and OP's understanding about the # of free listings is incorrect for any store level.

Try listing a new item, and see if there are charges before you submit it.

Couldn't say- just re-stating what OP shared UP Thread that they get something different etc.

No idea what a Seller gets except US based.  Lol

This is what the eBay says you get with a Starter store. 250 free listings, of any type. The free listings are not split between auction and fixed price like the other store levels are, it's just 250 total free listings without any restrictions on how you use them.

If you have a different number of free listings, please post a screenshot that shows this. And, why do you get more free listings? Is it a special offer?

It is correct that you don't get charged fees for editing. I have heard other sellers who have posted about this, but I don't remember if they figured out why, or what the reason was.

I suspect that because of good 'til canceled, it may be showing that a fee was charged for that listing when it was relisted that month, not that the fee is being charged when the listing is edited.

This page for Store fees for sellers in Managed Payments applies for all sellers that list on eBay.com.

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling-fees/store-fees?id=4809#section10

If you scroll down to the bottom of that page, there are links there to the fees that are charged when a seller lists on other eBay websites.

There's also a link to some international fees that apply to global sellers who are listing on eBay.com. Those would apply to OP, but they are additional fees, they don't replace the store subscription, insertion and final value fees that are the same for everyone on eBay.com.

Your version in the last paragraph is most likely possible correct.

You miscalculated my Good 'Til Canceled ads - I now have 343 out of 350 possible.

Here is a screenshot

Well, the OP's screen shot shows they get 350 per month on their basic subscription

There has already been a conversation about this and I tried it, everything is fine if you put these ads again - there are no fees

@siberian2ooo,

Thanks for posting that screenshot. Yes, I see that your numbers are correct. Can you remember if this is because of a special promotion that you were offered for your store?

I reviewed some of the old threads about being charged for revising a listing. They go back to 2018, and the eBay employees were consistent in saying that even if a fee showed up when revising a listing, it would not actually be charged unless you changed something that had an additional fee (like adding category, or a listing upgrade). I didn't see any posts where someone was actually charged a fee unless that was the case.

@katzrul15@dhbookds@nobody*s_perfect

Does anybody know if all starter stores get this many free listings now? Maybe the help page is wrong.

Or maybe OP was lucky enough to get a special offer or promotion.

There were store promotions that ran shortly before the Spring Update.  There was a thread where the gal wanted the flier deal, remember?  She had saved it in her emails, but the new deal was less that MP was offerring.

Searched for that thread and could not find it.

I have not applied any additional promotions to ads this year.

And I do not have an starter stores, but a Standard (BASIC) stores .

Accordingly, the monthly subscription fee is $ 21.95 (annual subscription)

Oh, thanks. Now I get it -- you're not in managed payments yet!

So you're still on the old fee schedule, for sellers whose payments are processed by PayPal.

Yes, managed payments have not yet been connected for Russia.

What is the tariff for managed payments?

It would be interesting for me to know, since this is also ahead of us.
