I just noticed that on some of my items, I have "$1.00 list fee" and this confuses me a bit.
If I sell a blue ribbon as one of my zero insertion fee listings and it sells, do I pay a $1.00 listing fee on that?
Next question-
If I then use that blue ribbon listing "sell similar" to create a listing for a red ribbon and just change out the title, picture, etc do I pay a $1.00 list fee that I wouldn't have paid if I started from the beginning instead of using "sell similar" function?
Trying to minimize fees on craft items that are same TYPE of item, but different colors, designs, etc. Thanks.

The $1 listing fee is likely for a listing option upgrade that is checked off on that listing. If you have an upgrade checked off, that amount will be be charged when you list an item and each time it renews. If you don't want to pay for that option then uncheck it before you list or use sell similar.
There are a few options that cost $1. Check to see if you have gallery plus checked off as that is only free in certain categories. Subtitles are also a $1 as well as 1 and 3 day auctions.

not sure what the $1. list fee is for..........did you use a sell similar from a different seller?
I do see this in your description, which I find confusing:
USPS First Class mail includes tracking but not shipping.
if you meant insurance......you shouldn't mention that........insurance is strictly up to the seller to pay....you are responsible to get the item to the buyer......they shouldn't/don't have to pay extra.

Thanks...that was meant to say insurance. It's been a while since I've sold on ebay, but I guess the seller isn't allowed to charge insurance anymore. I thought it was still optional. Thanks!

The only thing that I did differently, was started the listing from the app on my phone. But otherwise, it was "sell similar" and I just changed wording and picture. No changes in the listing...all the ones I did on my pc don't have that $1 list fee. Weird. Thanks!
