I’ve got 3 orders shipped on the 10th that have been sitting in the Indianapolis USPS hub for 4 days now. Anyone else experiencing this? I saw in a post dated 12/7 and at that time they were backed up about 2 weeks. Yikes! Should I reach out to my buyers?

I would just keep an eye on things, and if someone files INR, be prepared to provide the tracking number to the case ASAP, and mention in the case that the Indianoplace sorting center is backed up, and you're keeping an on eye on their shipment.

It's not just Indianapolis it's going on everywhere. I shipped 3 packages on November 30th this week they are finally delivered. So far my buyers have been very patient no INRs or negative feedback because of delays with the postal service.
I didn't reach out to my buyers, it's like poking the bear.

The OP hasn't mentioned any case.

On average I'm seeing most packages sit 5-7 days in Indy before moving @kath.layn (though a few will slide right through) so I wouldn't say anything to the buyer as the package could move at any moment, and there's still time for Christmas delivery if the buyer is expecting that.

It's the week before Christmas! You should push back (politely) on any buyers complaining - they can see the tracking just as well as you and should have some awareness ITS THE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS!
You're packages are competing with all the people who have to have their toilet paper, pet food and paper towels delivered to them now.
Merry Christmas!

Currently dealing with same issue. 12/6 the items tracking says "Destination Processing". Next update was 12/7 "destination processing" in Pontiac MI hasn't moved since then. Customer requested refund today. I have been in contact before the request for refund, but I get it. I would reach out to if you haven't already. It says running behind so maybe they will understand it's out of your control.

I have over 50 packages running behind schedule.
They all are slammed.
The worst for me appears to be in LA, Baton, Memphis is horrible, the list goes on and on.
5-6 delays.
I still have packages shipped on the 3rd that are delayed.

The delays are do to lack of employee 's and trucks going to the sorting centers .

I had at least 18 packages initially affected by this starting on November 29th. Then I started getting item not received cases left and right starting December 10th. I contacted eBay and opened a ticket for customer service to be on the watch and send out some seller protections just like weather events. eBay has not even acknowledged this event has occurred and now they are arbitrarily refunding my customers and adding the defects to my account which I am currently appealing.
We as sellers should not have to be doing any of this if they would have just put some protections in place for us because this was a serious event. I talked to my local Postmaster and he told me they had hundreds of thousands of packages backed up at the Indianapolis facility and they were all being stored in semi trailers until they could get to them. He also told me that they had some robotics upgrades and software updates that failed during implementation which caused the facility to reduce capacity by the thousands per hour. What genius implements this before the busiest shipping time of the year and why didn't eBay know or do anything about it. Has anyone heard a peep from eBay?
Instead I get to spend my time cycling through customer service agents and the email chain waiting to find one that actually cares enough to read my concerns and remove the defects caused by the USPS. eBay customer service has become a joke for sellers lately and they should have been on top of this from the beginning and I can almost guarantee that upper management knew about this at the start but failed to tell us because that would've hurt sales for sure but now we're paying for it, not eBay. And eBay has the audacity to make us work for the removal of these USPS created defects on our accounts that have monetary consequences for us sellers.
Collecting eBay fees seems to be the driver here over the common sense solution of protecting the people that generate the fees - the sellers.

I have a package that has been stuck in Indianapolis since the 16th. At one they sent it to Fort Myers and back. USPS is headed for extinction at their own hands.

I also have 3 packages that I sent out Nov. 29 and Dec. 2 that arrived weeks late and I have 3 strikes against me now for delayed shipping. This even though the tracking shows they were picked up in a timely manner.
