Increasing SALES

I am new to eBay platform.

Can you help me to increase my sales?

If I listed items, there are not sales.

Any tips I should followed?

Or my listing may be wrong?

@peshalidistribution_online

You need to take a look at the items you're selling.

Your shipping times to the US are a month or more.

If I wanted some plastic spoon and forks, I'd run to the dollar store and not have to wait a month for it.

Have a great day.

I looked (quickly) at your listings, prices seem to be OK, but I don't deal in any that stuff so idk, just saying they seem cheap and not super expensive so I don't think it's price. The few listings I clicked on seem OK, nothing stuck out as obvious bad...but didn't spend a lot time either.

I would say more likely case is just being a new seller, just as sellers are weary of new buyers, buyers can also be weary of new sellers. But there is no written book on how to sell really, every seller can tell you differently and they all could be potential good things. Ebay is not an easy market these days, takes a lot of time and patience to your "curve" ...so while sales may not be happening for you right now, know that in general sales are down across the board for every category on ebay right now (according to the sales team I talked to beginning of the week)..hoping for a boost coming up for holiday shopping... but in case of new seller, do not expect instant success, it won't happen, most sellers I think can agree it takes time to build here. Good luck.

The great truth is there isn't one
And it only gets worse since that conclusion...

Increase your listings to at least 250 items but at the same time make sure your selling stuff that is actually going to sell. Check the competition. Make sure you have the appropriate store subscription as your listings grow. And you set the store up properly. Use all white back grounds for all your pictures. Run a discount sale 15% off over weekends. Price lots of stuff between $8-25. Don't sell a very high ticket item till your experienced and are aware of all the scams.  List something every day at different times of the day. Keep an eye on your ebay fees.  Don't drop ship, sell your own inventory.

You are in Sri Lanka.  In the last 2 weeks, we have had at least a dozen sellers from Sri Lanka asking about how to sell on eBay.  Is someone there pushing it?  Seems a number are drop shipping from China.

Surely Sri Lanka has some native crafts that might be  appealing to the U.S. market.  Have you considered those items?

Good luck with your endeavors.

Dear @kensgiftshop @patd3283 @duncanvr @nuclearomen ,

Thank you for advising me... I really appreciate it more and more. yes I am a Sri Lankan. I have to consider our own Handmade Items.

Yes my shipping time is actually 10 days. Because, here we have pandemic Situation in Sri Lanka. We must Stay home REGULARLY. We can go out on Weekends. So that's why I included 10 business days on shipping. Is it incorrect or noneffective?

Make sure you advise any international buyer you do get of lengthy delays in shipping. Drop shipping from USA places like Walmart etc is actually not allowed on ebay. If ebay learns your drop shipping they may restrict your account. One thing you can do is buy popular products online and have them sent to your house. Then attempt to resell them for small profits. You could look into the stamp collecting market as an example. But there still could be a problem if Sri Lanka does not accept PayPal payments. Many buyers use PayPal and not being able to accept payments for it could also reduce your sales. Good luck.
