can someone please tell exactly what these metric mean and how the numbers compare on various seller reports. They seem rather meaningless to me without defining what it is tracking. I can guess, but rather know exactly what they meant them to portray. Thank you in advance for constructive replies.

Impressions = How many times your items showed up on someone’s search.
Click thru = How many times someone clicked on your item from search results
Conversions = Percentage of buyers who clicked thru that bought.

To add......... impressions................... A searcher may not have even seen your listing depending upon how far down the page it was. Impression just means that your listing was on the page that opened, and not that anyone saw it.
At least it does show that the item is searchable, and being seen.
Views are better. They looked at it😁

And another addition..........
Impressions also occur when someone views a listing page and that page includes your item in the "available from other sellers" section and also when your listing appears in any of the sidebar areas. Another place where impressions may occur is when your listing is included in a notification to a buyer such as from a saved search alert or a generic eBay marketing message.
One thing to watch out for, very high impressions with a very low click-through means your listing Title has keyword that buyer use in search but they don't click-thru either because you actual item is not at all what they were searching for or your Title or Price are not enticing them to click-thru.
Into your life it will creep
