Impact of a negative feedback is terrible, destructive and disapointing.

The formula is unjust ,cruel and .... It needs to be softened. The person who imposed this premature formula- had no knowlege of mathmatics and he could not come with a better solution. It affects all of us. I am sure ebay does notwant to see  its Top Rated sellers with a very low feedback score.

. Most of these negative feedback are left by new young buyers, with 1-10 feedbacks. Is ther a way to restrict these new comers

Sometimes, if the seller contacts the unhappy buyer, and attempts to mend the problem, the seller can then ask the buyer if he can send a Feedback Revision Request form.

What "premature formula"? Buyers have been able to leave negative FB for sellers almost since eBay's beginning.

And, regarding the negs you received, you might want to look at the actual information about how much FB those buyers have.

You have had some really unhappy buyers of your products, maybe its time to look inward.

The formula is opt-in.  There exists no perfect formula not in brick and mortar and certainly not online.  If you or anyone hasn't noticed the culture especially here in America feels more hostile than ever.  That's the result of one person who sent shock waves through every single citizen in this country and slews of them around the world.  That stress which continues and continues to build effects every portion of life...  Ten/Twenty years ago versus today is like night and day in virtually every single individual I know and/or encounter.  Anger, rage, conspiracies, pressures, stressors in everyone and it flows out.  That's nothing to do with feedback.

Social Media has literally turned ever so many people into armchair sociopaths or perhaps a new form of sociopathy one of, "I feel empathy for me and mine and no others... Period."

That strapped with literally tens of millions of people who care believe whatever suits their narrative whether lies or not, even when they KNOW its lie are too self-emboldened to even admit being wrong more or less acting upon it.  It's something else!  There are not enough institutions that can hold people who as we speak 30 years ago would be construed as mentally unstable, clinically certifiable aka: in need of counseling, perhaps medications and most certainly observational isolation.

It's not a new equation by any means.  It is NEW to a large population which is capitalistic with values sets corrupted by worth both self-measure self-worth and worth of lifestyles.  History shows time and again what happens to masses of people led by outlandishness and lie, they too become outlandish and lie.  Now what those particular folks again throughout history DONT see as they never learn from history is they ultimately become the victims.  They think they raise themselves in self-worth with self-measure emboldened by "mouthy leaders" which I use as a term as the "real term" Moderators likely not prefer me use.  Victimize others yet when the REASONS they've been manipulate come to bare THEY become the victims of that which they emboldened.  History displays this over and over and over and over.  They are the ones who go off to die in wars, they are the one's who get minimized, they are the ones usually along with families/relatives that "Disappear" as they are the ones the pose the largest threat to leaders they emboldened as they have expectations of said leaders.

Understand what filters into you're lives and you will also understand it even filters into here, eBay.  It'll filter into anyplace and anyone where a crack exists for it to flow through.  Some will call it the battles of good and evil, others will call it The Human Condition... I call it "Weak people, sheep who want be lions and yet have neither the moral or mental compass to do either well."

Do you think giving a description of the items might help?

I think you may be looking at this backwards. Feedback can be a tool to measure the satisfaction of one’s buyers. So rather than attempt to block newcomers (which cannot be done), you would be much better served reviewing your selling and listing practices in order to change the trajectory of your buyers’ current dissatisfaction.

Usually this number of poor reviews, coupled with multiple feedback revision numbers, is not a reflection of an influx of bad buyers, but instead is a strong indication that some changes need to be made by the seller. Blaming the buyers is not helpful in a case where there are multiple reports of seller non-responsiveness and mistakes made.

Name-calling and lashing out at a buyer in feedback solves nothing and can indeed make the situation much worse. In that case, it is not necessarily the feedback that has power to hurt a seller, but the seller himself shooting himself in the foot. A poor feedback can be an opportunity for a seller to show off some customer service skills which can  diffuse the buyer’s feedback complaint, and rob it of its ability to discourage new shoppers. Prospective  buyers who vet their sellers thru feedback are primarily looking for responsive, professionally-minded sellers who shows concern about the customer when an issue arises. Most buyers know that a seller getting a poor review eventually is inevitable, so it is how a seller handles that buyer that counts.

Noticed you are selling some flawed items that state in the title they are for parts or repair, but then are listed as “used.” Selecting the condition as Used indicates a fully functioning item with cosmetic flaws. I’d recommend changing them to For Parts Or Repair and avoid the possible headache that can come from a buyer who might expect a fully functioning item because it is listed that way. All sections of a listing need to be consistent. Any discrepancy can be viewed by eBay as misleading.

We've successfully avoided most negative or even neutral feedback through two simple approaches: Describe everything in detail (not upselling it, just describing it honestly), and fix any problems quickly and effectively.  That usually means just a refund, as many of our items are unique, but sometimes we can send a replacement.  Your tone is the key in fixing issues, though.  Be very very conciliatory, apologetic, and professional above all.  Getting emotional either in your replies as someone mentioned you'd done, or in your messages (almost always worse, because that usually comes before the customer leaves feedback in the first place), will just make a bad situation far worse.  Never assume someone is out to scam you, even if you're fairly positive they are.  Just fix the issue, and make sure they know they're appreciated as a customer.

You get those down, your negatives will not happen in the first place, or in any rare instances they do, you'll be able to get them removed or shrug them off because you'll be inundated with good feedback.

Your have a problem beyond the negatives. You have some neutrals which could have been negatives.

The negatives seem likely to be appropriate.

Fortunately, most buyers do not read feedback.

This is part of the reason why feedback is not considered for Top Rated Seller.

It is likely that any sales problems you might have are being caused by other than FB. There are lots of reasons for many sellers to be experiencing slow sales at this time.
