Immediate payment default unchecked?

Just noticed that ebay added this little box at the bottom of every listing (when posting or revising) that allows you to check it to require immediate payment with "buy it now" purchases...  by default it is unchecked on all my existing listings.  I can't figure out how to batch edit this.  Anyone else know how?  Also.  Why the poo was the default go to unchecked?

but you can bulk edit the option from your bulkedit page

That checkbox has always been there, but previously it was buried in a sub-menu (first under Payment, later under Preferences), and finally they have brought it up to the main page of the form where everyone can see it.

I'm puzzled by why you're seeing it un-checked on your existing listings, though. You're saying that you had it enabled originally (on at least some of your listings), but if you revise an existing listing now, the option comes up as un-checked? I've been doing some Sell Similar listings recently, using older listings of my own as a source for the new ones, and those have all come up with the IPR already pre-checked (in its new location).

Yeah this may be user error then if it was there previously.  However I do know in my general settings I have immediate payment required so I'm not sure how this happened.

Yep all mine were also unchecked tonight when I was doing a new listing I seen it so I went and checked some of my other listings and yes they too had been unchecked for IPR. I just bulk edited all of them. Not sure why or how it got unchecked since I have had IPR for a very long time now.

Not a user error, it's yet another eBay error. (probably more on purpose than an error)  They did something dumb and it caused everyones preference "Require Immediate Payment for Buy It Now." to be unchecked on new an current listings. Typical eBay, they just do whatever they want no matter how stupid and sellers just have to deal with it.
