I opened this second account a few weeks ago. If ebay’s Forced GTC has not been remedied back to allowing us to choose the duration of our listings I will delete this second account and when the inventory on my first account is gone, I will delete that account as well. The updates since October 2017 have continued to cause more problems, more time sucking, more aggravation and this latest forced GTC is frankly the last straw for me. You win eBay. You’re losing yet another 100% positive seller with multiple accounts. Why? Because you don’t listen to your sellers. And yes, you’re a monopoly, so it doesn’t matter, you can do whatever you want: Message received... AGAIN!

I'm right there with you. Over $135,000 in lifetime sales. There are lots of other platforms out there that offer more control and better pricing. After this round of sales, I'll be moving to those other platforms. Sorry Ebay. It's been a nice run, but the forced Good "till Cancelled is just not going to work for me.

If the forced GTC is still in effect by the end of the month, I will delete my account.

You cannot "delete" your account. You can close it, but eBay will keep it around until eBay decides that the chance of a buyer filing a dispute or requesting a return has passed.

I want to know that too! I sell collectibles and can’t find a comparable platform! But they say they’re not a monopoly.

Certainly there are 10's/100's of selling sites out there..........googling items can find them........I'm just unsure of any that have short term listings, which is what I presume people who are complaining are looking for.........
