Starting a major downsize and would like to engage a trading assistant.

eBay no longer has trading assistants. They also did away with eBay Valet.

     As fab_finds4u mentioned eBay did away with that function. You rare in a major metropolitan area, same one I am in, you would be better off utilizing an estate sale company or using one of the local forums to hold your own onsite sale. There are lots of estate sales, some personally ran, in the WMA every week. I go to lots of them.

Bad move.  Ebay reports sales to the IRS so are you're saying you'd be comfortable giving your SS# to a random stranger from the internet.... and bank account details.

You will probably not find anyone here who will want to engage in that.  Anyone willing to do all the work will expect about 50% and will not want to have what they sell on your behalf listed as their income.
