Sellers are allowed to ask Ebay to increase their selling limits ONCE every 30 days.  You can do it from this link below.

I know you selected your own post to resolve this issue, however it isn't accurate.  There is NO requirement to sell all your items.  You certainly need to sell some stuff, but no requirement to sell everything.

I gave you information in another post that you can REQUEST a selling limit increase once every 30 days.

I've been selling regularly on this account now for about 3 years. At first I had very low limits but they slowly---and I mean SLOWLY increased over time. Right now, my limits are pretty much ridiculous. I can list up to $142,500 in value, but only 230 items per month. I've just recently decided to start selling more quantity of items at lower prices and eBay says no to an increase in the amount of items I can sell. Their reasoning seems awfully arbitrary to me. Hard to believe I haven't proven myself by now. And why...why would they refuse to make more money? It's baffling...
