Mine are down  for the last 30 days, but I don’t think it is ebay, it is buyers. My conversion rate was higher.

By the way is there an error in the pricing of those Classique shoes?  The "glass slipper" ones?

You have them listed at $1724.25 and others apparently identical are on the same page for under $20.

I don’t pay that much attention to impressions and that other malarkey.

I’m making sales that all I care about.

The rest is just superfluous information. IMO

All I know as soon as I paid to "promote my items" I started getting lots of impressions and sales.   Seems like if you don't "pay to play" they turn off your sales.

The only thing the impressions, views, etc., mean to me is if I'm not getting any on an item, I take a second look at the listing.  I've found some dopey mistakes I've made doing that, fixed them, and the item starts being seen again and sells.

It depends on what you mean by throttling. Hiding, NOPE. Not letting buyers purchase your items, NOPE. Lowering you items seen on best match to possibly page 28 instead of page 2, YES. Do not worry about impressions as they actual mean nothing. With that said, everyone has impression over 50% down, I believe they made a change in the count numbers. Did you not realize there are over 5 MILLION shoes listed on Ebay right now ?

Only 5 million?  
Nike sells twice that many shoes in a week. 
If we can only see 5 million pairs of shoes on eBay, maybe we are not seeing the whole search picture??

I came up with 20 million+ returns of which only 1.1 million+ sold.

OP is actually doing pretty darned well for that market!

I PROMOTE AT 4 % 

IVE TRIED 7% DIDNT GET BETTER.

WHEN IS IT ENOUGH ?

most were at 1 %.

NOW EBAY SAYS 3% IS THE LOWEST YOU CAN PROMOTE I BELIVE.

I pay to much for storage now.

my garage is maxed

my house is maxed

my wife is madder than heck about all the boxes.

i have 2 trailers full of new shoes to list but no room to put them

one is 20 foot and one is 12 ft.

i cant list till i get some room.

but if you dont list sales go down so what do i do ?????

Impressions don't mean a Thing!!!

Mine are 2.5 Million this month and My sales are still the same as when they said 1 million last year!

Sales never grow.

They are in 'Men's Casual Shoes' where there are over 900,000 listings.

I would guess you need over 20% Promotions to get to the Top of 1st Page. 

Maybe instead of doing 25% off; you would try that?

But, the positive thing is; it's NOT a race to the bottom; it is an opportunity for you to get near the top of 1st Page.

Before 'Promotions'; there was NO way to 'get there'.
