So I ended up selling a PC for $900 I already contacted paypal and ebay and ebay told me they would send me an email to report the person and they can do a full investigation that would take about 20 days (I'm still waiting for said email)
I have all the documentation to prove that I was scammed (paypal marked the payment recieved and canceled) and my Item was stolen my question is what is usually the results that I can expect when this whole thing is investigated?
Will I get my money that I sold for the item? I know its probably impossible to get the actual item back.

OP, call paypal and upload the OK to ship screen shot.
Tell them you followed instructions. Ask for a refund.
This has happened before to other sellers.

Did you ship the PC before Pay Pal showed the paymet was completed?

No, I doubt you will get the money back. Did you log into the paypal website BEFORE you shipped and did paypal say it was "OK TO SHIP"? Most likely the transaction did not say OK to ship. You don't qualify for seller protection if you ship when paypal does not say it is ok to ship. And unfortunately there is a big scam going around with expensive items where international buyers are paying with e-checks and having the items shipped to a forwarder and some sellers are shipping the item despite the pending uncleared payment & paypal saying "NOT OK TO SHIP"--and thats exactly what the scammers are counting on.

It did say "OK to ship" the day I sent it. And the guy on the phone also said "you did exactly what you were supposed to do which was to sent the item" since thats what they say after the payment is processed.

Did you do this on the ebay app?
Also more than a few sellers have reported that there has been a lag time where paypal will say OK to ship and ebay telling you there is a problem.
If you got an OK to ship that was later rescinded by ebay or because of the app, I think that those are being covered.

He purchased it on 9/23 and I sent it on monday 9/25 both paypal and Ebay were saying to ship the item so yea.
And I was using my computer at the time not the ebay app.

Ask the buyer to return the item. I know it sounds naive but the threat of involving the Postal authorities and the cops usually brings people to their senses. Hopefully someone will come along and compose one of those letters about Postal inspectors and cops for you.

You can't go by ebay says and they will ALWAYS pass the buck on this one to paypal as paypal is the payment processor and the one who has to give you seller protection in the event they cancel the payment. Do you have proof that paypal said "ok to ship"? paypal will need a screen shot . If paypal cancelled the transaction then I doubt the website said "ok to ship". The app incorrectly shows "ok to ship" but the website has been showing correctly "do not ship". If paypal determines that the transaction said "do not ship", you are SOL.

Just to be sure, you logged into your paypal account (not through emails) and you got the OK to ship.
Do you have a screen shot of it?
If so upload it to paypal then call and show it to them. I believe they will cover you in that instance.

Paypal does not mark funds received and ok to ship until the funds have been verified. Buyers cannot cancel an ebay payment. So I'm not sure what ebay would investigate. If you shipped without payment, ebay nor paypal is going to help.
Unless there was a glitch in paypal's system, sounds like you got the classic fake email from the scammer. If so, you are out $900.
