I want to talk with a real person. Not bot!

I refuse to talk with a bot! eBay will not allow me to remove all my items for sale. I have been in the hospital and am bedridden. There has to be a phone number I can call.  Thank you in advance

@junkstorediva   Sorry you're not feeling well.  You can remove your active listings yourself.   Just go to this page>  https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active     (You can click the link on your cellphone and follow my steps if you can't get to your computer)

Put a checkmark next to all items.   Then select the Actions drop down menu at the top of the list.  Next select END from that drop down menu.    The items then remain in the unsold section for 90 days before they are permanently deleted.

Here's how to contact eBay customer service:

eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.

1. CLICK THIS LINK: https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4191&st=10

2. Click Automated chat on the left hand side of the screen.    ( Trust me)

3. Type AGENT in the small box on the lower right of the linked page then you will see the options to contact a live agent, you may have to answer the chat bots questions before it allows you to connect to an agent, this is so you are connected to the correct department.     If  the bot asks another question after you answered type AGENT  again.  Then you will see the option to request a call back or live chat.

If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media

4. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.

I'm sorry or your situation, but it is your responsibility to attend to your listings. Talking to eBay will do nothing, and their customer service reps have been known to tell you what you want to hear, without any repercussion. I suggest you put your listing on vacation mode. End your sold listings and see if a friend or relative can assist you.  As for contacting eBay, there is an option for a call back, but again, it wont do anything. Just follow my suggestion, otherwise you will find yourself banned from selling.

If you have the  ability to post here you should have the ability to end all your listings without having to call Ebay.

What do you mean by "eBay will not allow"?

Your listings are Fixed Price, you can end them anytime you want, no need to call eBay.

Go to your active listings and click End in the menu next to the item.

Have a great day.

Hopefully you'll be out of the hospital before you have another sale. 2 sales in three months.  I think you'll be fine.

And no, there is no number you can call. You go through chat and ask a bot for a callback from a human. The Bot will have a human call you back right away. That's how it works for everyone

I am very sorry to hear that your health is causing such issues that you have to be hospitalized.  That is most certainly a whole lot to deal with.  On top of that, being a current Ebay seller is certainly going to present additional worries for you.

I've always encouraged sellers to have a Plan B.  If something were to happen to you, do you have plans in place for someone to step in and put your account on Time Away or if you don't want to do that, then end on the listings.  You need to have a trusted someone that you could leave detailed instructions on what to do along with your password.

I'm not sure what you mean by "talk with a bot".  None of the options for Customer Service takes you to a Bot.  They are all real people.  With the exception of the very start of a Chat session.  There is a Bot that is going to ask you a few questions so they can get you to the correct department.

You have a couple of options.  Since you are posting here, clearly you have access to your account, so without further explanation, I'm not sure what has stopped you from taking care of this issue.  If it is because you are looking to have Ebay do it for you, they won't, so it isn't going to matter who you are talking to.

Likely the easiest and Fastest thing for you to do is put your account on Time Away.  You can do that for up to 30 days.

Time Away instructions

The other thing you can do if you want to close all your listings is go to your Seller Hub.  Then to your Active Listings.

Check off the box that appears on the left just above your list of listings.  That should make a check mark appear next to all of your listings.

Now go to the top of the list of listings and the box called ACTIONS should be clickable.  Click on the down arrow just to the right of the Word Actions.

A drop down menu will appear and tell you all your options.  The very first one is END Listings.  Click on that and submit your request.  That will end all those listings.

If you are unable to do this due to your health issues.  Get a friend or a family member to come and help you.  If you don't want them to have your password, log in for them and then just direct them as to what you need them to do for you.

If you need more assistance, write me.  You can send me a private message if you prefer.  I will do what I can to help.

I sincerely hope your health improves very soon.  I am wishing you nothing but the best.

Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service.  Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is.  Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message.  It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

https://twitter.com/askebay

https://www.facebook.com/eBay/

https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/

Your options will be on the left.  If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options.  Not all options are available 24/7.  It will depend on staffing available.  So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't.  Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me.  If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.

If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

@gacay29

In the post right above yours, I gave you all the ways in which to contact Ebay.  You can decide which method is best for you.  Since this is an OLD thread, Here is the more current list.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
