I want to create listings now for future use 4-5 months out - what are my options?

I currenlty have an enormous backlog of about 2,000 items to list (I refuse to call it my "death pile", since these are collectible items that tend to go further up in value with time).

For various personal reasons, I have decided to limit my selling activities for awhile, and to spend the first quarter of 2025 focusing mainly on creating new listings for these backlogged items, with the idea being to put them up in my eBay store for sale in the second or third quarter of 2025.

My understaning is that drafts are only kept for about 75 days, so doing it all with drafts won't work for me. I also found that drafts cannot be sorted or searched by SKU number, which makes things awkward with a large quantity of drafts created.

In the past I have created listings and scheduled them out for future, and I could do that and just remember to keep scheduling them out - but I am deathly afraid that somehow eBay could lose them all and all my work would be lost. No, that has never happened to me, but (knowing how eBay does things), it is always in the back of my mind.

Is there software avalable for a sitation like this?  Software that would enable me to create hundreds of full listings - including the title, condition description, item specifics, item description, photos, etc, and store the completed lisitngs either on hard drive or in the cloud to be uploaded to my eBay store in the furure?

I use SixBit. I am doing some auctions in 2025 and have already gotten six  months of listings ready to go up each week. SixBit allows you to create a listing and save it indefinitely. The downside is that it costs 29.99 a month for subscription to use the service. But it's a huge time saver, you can make templates for various types of items you have and quickly list things when you want to.

Lots of third party solutions out there.

I use SixBit, a cheaper alternative would be Wonderlister. These are both desktop apps so any listings you create are available forever.

LOL LOL your user name is what my wife sometimes calls me. I won't even tell her the "death pile" comment. I would no doubt hear it over and over again forever.
