I want to Cancel My Store Subscription, but...

Every time I try to either cancel my store subscription (with a penalty fee, I know) OR change my store level, I get an error message at the top of the screen "something went wrong".

 

Has anyone had success in closing their s tore?

 

This is madness.

 

The last  time I called Ebay it took 45 minutes on the phone with a rep.

Clear your cache and your cookies?  Try another browser?

 

To close your eBay Store, do the following: 1) Sign in to the My eBay webpage with your credentials. 2) In the Account tab, click the Subscriptions link. 3) Find the eBay Stores subscription under the list of your active subscriptions, then click either Change Level or Cancel Subscription.

Thanks, I already know HOW to close/change it, I did follow the instructions ebayy gives us.

 

Clearing  the cache does not help the issue.

Glitch de jour maybe? Post it in the tech issues board, maybe someone will have an idea what to do.

Did you try another browser?  That might help.

I use Chrome and tried it with Microsoft Explorer and got the same message

 

"something went wrong"

You may want to use the "have us call you" feature to get in touch with eBay.  At least that way you would not have to sit around and wait on hold for an extended period of time.  I change my store subscription level a couple of times a year and have only had a problem once, but it was not recently.   At that time the CSR was able to take care of the problem during the phone call.
