I've been selling items on Ebay for years ...Now ? They've changed the whole format

Ok I've sold hundreds of items over the years..now? I don't even know if the buyers are not paying or my account isn't set up. There's nobody to call. Is my pay pal no longer able to receive payments? Is everybody adding their bank acct # and routing # ? This new seller format doesn't even list sold items. I'm about done with Ebay.

If you have been selling for years, you should have read the many updates, emails, and notices about ebay severing ties with Paypal. You should have been given a deadline to sign up for Managed Payments. If you did not do that, you have no way to receive payments anymore.

Your listings show that you are enrolled in MANAGED PAYMENTS(so you are good).   Nothing goes into your PayPal account anymore.  

With Managed Payments money is deposited into your checking account 5-7 days AFTER sale is made.    EBAY deducts fees & shipping (balance is deposited into your checking account).

Right now I have shut down one account (21 years) and the other I will not do any listings on while I see how this shakes out, all before I open a new bank account that eBay can't clean out at will leaving me with overdrafts etc, in my view I smell some Federal government regulation eBay is trying to adapt to, the FEDS see an untapped revenue source here that they can exploit no matter if you sell 10 items a year or 10,000

And still no Phone number to contact eBay? but it's okay to trust them with a bank account, my accountant  sez I am nuts to do that

Reading the information sent from ebay actually does explain everything to you... Unless ebay has the funds, you do not get a ship message. You do get a sold, payment pending message. So stop, take a breath & realize that this is you breathing.

If you intend to do business on ebay, you follow their rules. If you don't want to accept their terms, seek other places to sell. You are not required to sell here nor is ebay obligated to allow you to sell here. You have zero rights.
