If you think the error will impact your auction or is misleading to bidders/buyers, if there is more than 12 hours left in your auction, you can cancel the bid(s) and then end the listing. Correct the listing and relist.

I've had to do this two or three times over the years. When I do, I email bidders to explain why I cancelled their bids and give them the new item #. If I expect to get a decent amount of money for the item, I offer the bidders a bonus: "Should you choose to bid again and if you win the auction, wait for an invoice from me and I'll send you an invoice with (free shipping/a $5 discount, etc.)."

If you mean it has a bid, then you wont be able change it. If it changes what the item actually is, I would contact the current highest bidder ad let them know.
Also maybe add to the description that you wrote something wrong in title.
If it's simple spelling mistake, ten I think its tough luck... 😞

And in the future, use spell check. It's your friend
BTW, eBay often takes into account obvious easy spelling mistakes and will often show searchers the item despite it not being spelled right. That's probably how you got a bid

@luvmystorm

Once you get a bid on an item you can't edit the title or description, but you can make an addition to the description which will appear below the actual description block.

You could clarify/make a statement about the correct spelling that way --  which at least would mean if a prospective buyer searched eBay by "title and description" your item would come up in the search results.

I believe you have Genuine spelled wrong too for the Genuine Block pipe.

Nice pipes---they should do well.

You can't change the Peterson's (Petterson's) misspelling with a bid on it. It did come up when I searched Peterson's so I wouldn't worry about it.

You can, however correct the misspelling of Genuine in the Meerschaum listing title.

The hazards of listing with a phone.
