Hello
I received neutral feedback about a box of jewelry that I sold, I started at one dollar.
I see it as unfair because I always sell similar boxes and people are very happy.
If I post a feedback review, what do you recommend I put in the complaint?

"She probably did it to affect my feedback but I have already blocked her"
I would say that she did a neutral so that it DIDN'T affect your feedback. Negs do, not neuts. It's her honest opinion about the product. As others have said you can either not respond or leave something generic like you can return the items for a full refund.

I recommend you say nothing, do nothing.
If you 'reply' the buyer gets the last word- and you CANNOT re-respond.
Plus- a Neutral means nothing
Plus- anything you say will just make it BIGGER and STAND OUT for OTHERS to see.

Some people are more sensitive to odors than others. Luckily they left a neutral and not a negative. I would not respond to a neutral, if you feel you have to something like I'm sorry and I didn't notice the smell gladly give full refund.
I deal with estate stuff almost exclusively so I know some of it can have an odor. If it does I spread it out and give it a chance to dissipate give it a light spray of fabreze then if I still smell it I pitch it. It is not worth the possible bad feedback to sell it.

"Please contact me for a full refund." -or- nothing at all.

Anyone who buys/sells junk jewelry lots (like me) .... IF they even read her comment, will know what kind of buyer they're looking at. They won't take her petty comments as a reflection on you whatsoever.

If you are talking about asking eBay to remove the feedback, there is no valid reason, the feedback does not violate any policies, eBay will not remove it.
If you are talking about replying to the feedback, I would not do anything other than "I'm sorry about the odour, you can return for a full refund if you wish"

Hello, thanks for the answer
Yes, when I sell something I put a note to the buyer that before giving feedback if there is a problem they should send a message
She didn't send any message, she just put neutral
She probably did it to affect my feedback but I have already blocked her

Don't.
The only ones who will ever read it are your future customers.
You will appear whiny and difficult to deal with.
Just don't.
The negative you received months ago was much more important.
That could have earned the Response.
"I regret you are unhappy with your purchase. Please return it for refund."
You can always demand a return before refunding, even if you have a No Returns policy.
And if he doesn't return the purchase, you might have been able to get the Neg removed.
Since you do have a Neg pulling down your FB rating, which the neutral does not do, don't draw attention to your FB until the Neg wears off.

Hi @cristian3_6
If you are talking about adding a follow-up comment to the feedback, sellers can only leave positive feedback, and one also cannot leave a negative review (or complaint) under a positive rating.
Just because other buyers were happy with a similar item does not mean every buyer will be happy. Different content, different person, different opinion.
Keep in mind that feedback does not affect one’s seller performance metrics. And a neutral neither adds not detracts from the overall score.
It is highly doubtful that a prospective buyer would be put off by that statement in the neutral feedback, especially when you have such glowing reviews. It is just one buyer’s opinion.

I doubt it. IMHO buyers can't care half as much about feedback as do sellers. I wonder if they even look at it that much.

I noticed in the title of the item you used the word "old" three times, "lot" twice and "jewelry" twice. You don't need to use a keyword more than once for it to have its effect, and that leaves more characters for other words (like "vintage" would be a good addition)

A neutral is not the end of the world. If you put anything, tell her you will refund and send her a label to return it.
Let sleeping dogs lie... it could get worse if you reply.

Hi, thanks for your reply
Why offer return? If she already gave a neutral feedback'
You say that if I offer you return will they remove neutral feedback?

I wouldn't do anything. She's already said she's just keeping some pieces so if she has already sorted it, I think that option is gone, anyway. It's not worth wasting a revision on. You can simply mention that you stand behind what you sell and are sorry she didn't let you know...or not.
BTW, I don't blame you for not taking returns on junk drawers - it's too easy for people to cherry pick and then send the rest back - but she might have simply returned it if you did. Hard to say.
Anyway, we sell to all kinds here and IMHO, it doesn't bear too much thought why this person or that gave a neut or what to do about it, save to examine your other wares and see if there is a storage problem causing a musty odor or anything you can do. Some people are also incredibly sensitive to scent and others there is no pleasing them. This person was not mean or rude, just stated her opinion.
This buyer did not give you a neg, she just wasn't that happy. I have some neuts myself - it happens.

If it was smelly and moldy why did she keep any of it? That feedback sounds like a fussy confused buyer. I would just leave it. Won't run off anyone. Do add them to your blocked bidder list.
