Did you mean:

I received an offer from a buyer in Australia and the shipping address actually shows Australia...

Will this require me to ship directly to the buyer, or will this ship to eBay's International Shipping Program hub?  Because I'm not keen on the idea of shipping to Australia for $6 for a 10-ounce shirt.  Thanks for your insight and help!

This is what I see when I change the shipping location to Australia (sorry it's small, click to zoom in):

So yes, you're using eIS and the offer will use that.

I suppose that it is useful to know that I am in the USA.

You need to redact the address as this is a public forum.
If you use eIS yes it will ship that way.

We can see where you are located by looking at your feedback page.

Are you opted into to Ebay International Shipping Program? Otherwise it is going to be way more than $6 to ship to Australia.

As long as everything is setup correctly for the eBay international shipping program, shipping should use eBay international shipping.

Go to your item and set your location to Australia to confirm eBay international shipping is being used for your item.

That's not the entire address, I don't think...more like the ZIP code.  I did an internet search for it and it didn't bring up an actual address.  Thanks for your reply!

I'm opted into the ISP and this is what shows under the "shipping" tab on the listing.  I'll have to cancel the sale if ISP doesn't kick in, though.  Thanks for the replies and help, y'all!

@refdef

What you see there is the total shipping cost the buyer will pay to have the item shipped by Ebay International shipping (EIS) to Australia. You will receive $6.00 of that, your domestic shipping cost, so you can ship to the EIS hub in IL. The balance $20.07 is what eBay charges the buyer for the international shipping to Australia.

Trust me, it can get a lot more expensive, even for books!  I just checked one of our heavier listings, and it would cost $190.02 to ship to Australia!  That was just a moderately heavy listing too, not something like a dictionary set or something massive.
