Sold an item, put the wrong tracking number and tossed the receipt.
Buyer confirmed that they received the item and is happy. Is there a way for me to mark this as delivered / completed?

Ask the buyer to send you the tracking number or a photo of the label through eBay Messages.

My ebay > Selling > Orders > See all orders
Got to the transaction in question.
I believe you can click on "edit" (to the right of the tracking number) to change/correct the tracking number.
I've never done it before but I assume once you put in the correct tracking number, it will show delivered.

Without the tracking number, you can't show it was delivered.

Ask the buyer to send you the tracking number or a photo of the label through eBay Messages.

Thanks for the reply
Just to be clear, I don't know the correct tracking number as I threw it away prior to shipping. I'm just trying to mark the order as completed since buyer already confirmed they received the item.

If I understand what you want to do, I would try deleting the tracking number and I think you can select Mark As Shipped in the pulldown.

It still wouldn't show as being delivered, like the OP wants.

If the buyer hasn't left FB yet, they can check a box that says it arrived on time when they leave FB. That would close things out the way you want.
You can also do nothing. There's no reason it has to be marked as delivered unless you're concerned the buyer will file a false not received claim.

Hopefully you can get the correct tracking number from the customer.
Just one question.
How/why did you enter the wrong tracking number to begin with?
When you print out a ebay shipping label it automatically fills in the correct tracking number for you.

They said they had a receipt, so they must have bought the label at their local post office, not through Ebay. So then they had to manually type the (many) digits into the tracking window, and mistyped one or more digits.
