Did you mean:

I need help please

I tell you my story a month ago I sold a Sonos in wall speaker and I sent the product on January 30 and the buyer received it on February 4, the buyer did not respond to messages and until 2 weeks later. I had to leave the complaint because the money was not released, the buyer insisted that he did not receive it, after proving to eBay that he did receive it, eBay released my fund, now 1 month after the sale, the buyer wants a refund because it is not the correct product!! you're crazy? First you want to steal it and then you say it's not the right one? 1 month later? How does eBay support this type of scammers?  What I can do ?

@doucas-15

From what I have read you did not EXPLAIN any of this.

You kept badgering the buyer about the payment made to Ebay

The BUYER did NOT hold or delay your payment. EBAY did. ALL new sellers (and many infrequent ones) are subject to a minimum 30 day hold BY EBAY... NOT by the buyer.

You hounded the buyer for no reason. Now you wonder why they are probably upset with you and want to return the speakers? They probably don't want to be subject to your harassment for something they haven't done. It doesn't matter if they replied to you that they got the speaker... or if they left you positive feedback. The Ebay Terms of Service you agreed to stipulated the 30 day minimum hold.

You created a situation that you are blaming others for.

nope, don't need to see, just pointing out you way overpaid....plus...the most you charged the buyer could be (Bronx to California per your listing)

USPS Ground Advantage®
Estimated between Fri, Mar 7 and Thu, Mar 13 to 90210
Shipping: US $58.13
(unless it was Alaska or Hawaii)
...so your buyer did not even cover your shipping expenses...

@doucas-15

Your listing photos show a black speaker but the listing title and item specific says "white".

This would be a good reason for a buyer to return an item.

In your feedback left for others, you accuse the buyer of being a scammer and blame him for holding up your money, which he is not/did not.  (The hold on money is because eBay holds money on all new sellers.  The buyer had nothing to do with that.)

This would also be a good reason for a buyer to return an item.   I would too, if a seller accused me of those things.

@doucas-15 ,

If you did that to me as a buyer I would return the item to you out of spite and buy it from someone that appreciates my business.

Re: I need help please

Accept the return and see if the buyer who claimed non-receipt sends it back to you. That is about the only way to determine if he indeed got it. (It could have been stolen off his porch which is not your responsibility.). If he sends nothing back, you will not be forced to refund. But if you continue down the i-won’t-cooperate path, you will lose your item and the funds. It is your choice.

You sold an expensive item without knowing the policies that can affect a sale here. That is on you, @doucas-15 . On eBay, it is the seller who accepts the risk of selling here. Not the buyer, not eBay.

In addition, you have allowed your feelings to enter into a business transaction and it has been to your detriment. You created this mess. You must now undo it and it’s gonna cost you. How much it’s gonna cost you remains to be seen.

By the way, miscalculation of shipping costs can happen to new sellers still in the learning curve. Don’t beat yourself up over it, but realize it is your obligation to absorb the cost.  Again—not the buyer’s or eBay’s.

Selling on eBay is fraught with issues that can trip up sellers who are unprepared. Better start reading the rules and policies that govern the site if you decide to continue here. I’d recommend starting small to prevent such a costly mistake occurring again. Best of luck to you.

@doucas-15

Your description says it's white and you show a black speaker.

Accept the return, provide a shipping label and refund once it's returned.

If they were expecting one color and received another, that's probably why they filed an INR first.

Have A Great Day.
