I need a copy of an old shipping label

Greetings, I sold a widget to a guy in Italy back in January. He says he didn’t receive it. The most recent tracking event shows it left the US in late January, and nothing since then. So I asked the post office, and they said it’s probably in Italian customs. Not helpful because it was mostly the cashier speculating. 

so i filed a Missing Package search request on USPS website. Now I’m trying to file an international claim. Using the tracking number, the website populated most of the required fields for me. Problem is, it *requires* me to upload a copy of the shipping label or customs form. I did not save them. Searching through other threads on this forum, it sounds like they’re easy to reprint within 24hrs. And now? How can I get a coly?

go to one of your ebay pages, on the left side is 'shipping labels'

the drop down will allow going back up to 90 days.

if you click on the shipment details for the item you want, it will show proof of purchased label.

you can use 'print another label' and at the top of that page you will see "you already purchased a label ... "

click on 'shipping labels page'. you will have to 'monkey around' with the options to find what you need.

Also, whenever you need more precise shipping details for international shipping, use this link>

It will tell you which shipping companies handled the packages on what dates, etc

italy was dropped from the tracking program or edelcon for 1st class international

if its not an edelcon country then the customs number will not track,it has to start with the correct letter to track

Am I missing something? That page doesn't show actual shipping labels, which is what USPS is asking for. It shows details, e.g. item number, buyer, tracking info, tracking number, and gives an option to buy a new shipping label for the same transaction.

Thanks for the suggestion but in this case it shows the same info as the USPS and ebay websites.

First, I do NOT buy postage on eBay. Every time it is wrong and the post office measures boxes unless you use theirs. All you do is get the package sent back to you and you pay more postage.l

I need a copy of the label I printed off eBay period. I printed it. I cut it. I taped it onto the package. So where is it?

I have been on here for 22 years but the latest array of documentation is perfectly  horrible. This is NOT a post office.

And half the time, those are WRONG. I need a copy of the shipping label I used. You cannot get it.

You print out the one on eBay, which decided it is a post office, and you are in trouble.

They need the old system back. I am taking my stuff to a trader and paying them to do it.
