Can you have both Local Pickup and Freight shipping as an option?

I've seen some sellers who are able to list both local pickup and freight shipping  as an option. I would like to do the same but only able to pick one or the other. I have a listing of heavy 700' ish castings. Started as local because I've never done freight. After time of no views I went to freight but would like the option for both. Would appreciate any suggestions on this. Thanks.

Yes, you can offer both options @fastkc . How to add a second shipping option depends on (a) whether or not you're using business policies and (b) which version of the listing form you're using: app, mobile web, classic web quick tool or classic web unified listing tool.

If you're not sure you can always take a screenshot of the shipping section on the listing form and we can go from there.

Thank you Rock.  I go back and forth between from app for pics and then classic for my listing.  I'll try the app to list both local and freight. Thanks again.

App might be more difficult as it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that classic web has.

I'd post screenshots of how to add a second shipping option with the listing tool, but I use biz policies and if you don't then our process will differ.

You can but I wouldn't list ANYTHING for 'local pickup' simply because this venue is KNOWN for items being shipped and people will buy (because 'local pickup' shows as FREE shipping) and then you and them figure out they live 1000 miles away and have NO PLANS to 'pick up in person' NOR no plans to pay $300/$500 or more to 'ship' something.

You should figure out the cost to 'ship' (if large, get pricing from Fedex), use the 'furthest zip code' and use that figure for 'shipping'.

IF... someone is 'close to you' they will hit you up about 'picking up' BEFORE they 'buy it'.

Thanks wasting and stainless for the replies. Think I'll take stainless' advice and just stick with freight shipping.  Thanks again.
