Did you mean:

I must be doing something wrong.

I'm trying to sell a camera lens. (Fuji 23mm f1.4) The listing has been up for over a week. Zero views, zero watchers. That can't be right. This is a fairly popular item. My price ($475) may not make it the steal of the century but it's certainly competitive. And no one even took a look? Clicked on one of the pictures? Nobody?

I haven't sold many things before and I think I did something wrong. Put it in the wrong place. Labelled it wrong. Something. I sold two lenses a few weeks back and they were gone in days. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: I must be doing something wrong.

Check the others listed and see if their categories line up with yours.

Check the sold lenses and look at their titles and category they were listed in.

Also see how many sold during the year and that will give you an idea of how popular they are.  Especially compared to how many are currently for sale.

Re: I must be doing something wrong.

Imagine that you just opened a retail camera shop.  What do you think the odds are of a customer coming in that first week and looking for that particular lens?  Give it time.  One week is nothing.

Also the fact that you seem to have been inactive on Ebay for quite awhile might deter some potential buyers.  Although your inactivity might attract some scammers so beware.

Re: I must be doing something wrong.

Every time you revise your listing you pull it off the market.

Then, it takes time to be re indexed with the updated information.

Lift your left leg at midnight to start off on the right foot. Happy new Year!
