. . .even though I understand that they were imaginary.
But they did increase the number of views on my items, which helped slightly in this particular period of slow and limited sales. They at least provided an illusion that someone (or SOMETHING) was actually interested in looking at my items.
But, since eBay decided to scrub the viewing bots, now we're left with . . . reality.
And reality is harsh. It says "Nobody cares to view your items. No matter how much fun they might be, or how inexpensive, or how much time and love you exerted into listing them on eBay. The viewing bots are gone -- and there's nobody left who cares."
So, yes -- I miss my viewing bots.
But I also still miss my imaginary friends from when I was four years old.
I wonder if my viewing bots are playing games somewhere with my old imaginary friends from when I was four years old.
I bet they're having fun. . ..

I miss mine too because those imaginary people used to buy a lot of my stuff and now I haven't made a sale in over a week. Are you're sales down?

My sales and views tanked together. Seems a correlation and maybe they weren't really bots but real customers that have somehow been not able to view or even know i listed items. People say it's the economy, well I would believe that if it didn't happen on one day. The economy has been sliding, the sales plunged on almost a particular day corresponding to an ebay update. The two don't add up.

I have views on items that have been at an available quantity of (0) for over 3 months. Last recent check showing 32 views over the many non-searchable listings.
