The other day Pizza Hut Hawaii released their "Lanyard Lei". They do this ever few years. The lanyard, ID holder and a card good for a personal pan pizza is $5. I bought several of them. I use the card for myself and sell the lanyard online for $7 plus $5 S&H. I had my first sale today. The customer is local. They can get it here for $5 instead of $12. I even checked with the buyers hometown Pizza Hut location, they still have them available for sale.
I was going to message the buyer and thank them for the purchase but let him know he can get it locally and ask if he wants me to cancel the sale. Am i crazy? Would you do the same?

Pizza Hut pizza isn't pizza, pizzingly speaking. Once upon a moon not to loon ago we had several actual Italian Pizzeria's until the like's of Little Cheesers and other franchisers did em' in. You taste the real deal and wonder exactly what these others are pushing out on people.
We recently found a little place that's off the mainstream community area who uses real mozzarella, not the processed stuff and they doctor the sauce vs homemade, they do make they're own dough, they use fresh toppings albeit the sausage is not home made. It's expensive but better than anything else in the area we've located.
See there's a small town outskirts of the city here that was all Italian, history. They played Bocce Ball in the streets way back when, the men worked making Piano's or working on railroad cars pretty much. The real Italian Restaurants and Pizza places were just AMAZING and once you experience the real deal anything claim be Italian tends not measure up.
My bro's in California and used to have me go order up Pizza's from one place and overnight them FedEx from NY to CA. According to him no place in the whole of LA county and surrounding areas have anything even come close. Pizza place was in the family for three or four generations, everything home made, used stone ovens wood fired was just amazing food, everything. Like the Calzone's you bite into it and let the flavors simmer in you're senses and just go, "Oh my gosh where has this been all my life!"

I think that is a good thing for you to do. One reason it is only a few $$ profit and secondly the buyer may find out they can get them themselves and not know Pizza Hut in his areas are selling them. They may give you a problem when they find out.

Exactly! Nothing beats NY Pizza

Some times those are corporate checks to make sure you're not selling counterfeits or similar. Not all the time but some times. Other than that, some people use this site like they would do Instacart. Don't sweat it. Some people also want to use money they have stored here as opposed to using their other payment methods, it could be a million things, don't sweat it either way. Just be honest in what you're selling and ship professionally. Everything else, don't worry about it. It's not worth the space inside your head.

It's not your problem that they don't know they can purchase what you're selling.
Carry on.

No I wouldn't do this. The reason being, I'm a customer and sometimes opt to pay more for some reason or another (one might be because I don't want to get off my duff and go outside and buy one). Your customer might not go and buy pizza and bother getting those things, but he saw it online and wanted to have the one you were selling.
