You're right. I don't report woke people. I can't match the damage they do to themselves.

Thanks for helpful and kind advise.

You don’t know what woke means, do you?
I guess saying “I don’t report anti-racist people” doesn’t look as nice…

Nope - I just woke up yesterday.

I apologize. I am sure that deep down you are a really nice person.

Yikes!

Nothing beats the time I had an antique miniature toy cowboy pistol on here that was literally 2 Inches long and they removed it because it didn't have an orange tip. There was even a ruler in the photo to show the size. It was like an accessory for some kind of antique cowboy doll. From that day forward I said I would never list any more toy guns on ebay, even if they were for a GI Joe. Just wasn't worth getting dinged over something for $5 bucks when they can't even follow their own rules.

If they could they would have forced to burn them too.

It’s federal law for all toy and/or replica guns to have an orage tip. eBay didn’t overreact.

Ebay has these robots and algorithms that single out one listing but not hundreds of others. There is NO rhyme or reason. Sometimes it takes someone to report your listing. If you ask eBay "why mine and not those hundreds of others?" all they will say is "Feel free to report those hundreds of others....." Ebay tries to make the platform a dog eat dog world. It is not pretty.

Thanks. Of all the eBay Community responses I received, you hit the nail right on the head. All these people and companies who are clammering to see who can be more politically correct are driving me nuts. Thanks for helping me feel I am not alone.

1. It's an antique (and I've seen plenty of antiques that have not been altered)
2. IT'S 2 INCHES LONG!
It doesn't qualify as a "REPLICA". For it to be a replica it would have to be full size. I'm sure there are subsections to whatever law you're referring too that specify size and age.

According to you even the tiny guns GI Joes come with would have an orange tip. Be realistic.

I had the same thing happen to me.
It was an "adult" comic that was removed after they suspended their "Adult Items" category. Of course, there were the exact comic I had STILL being sold on eBay.
I even contacted the "Help Chat Box" thing and asked your very same question. They replied with the old "We have billions of listings" excuse. I responded "you know.....you could just put the title in the search bar and all the others will show up." They replied they would take that up with upper management. I guess it was too complicated for them to comprehend.

"BLACK AMERICANA" is not my category - it is an official eBay posting category. They obviously have no reason for using that category other than to entrap selected low volume sellers like myself. As an ex-flea market dealer, I can assure you that most Black Americana collectors are black. They see (and rightly so) a value in preserving all their history both good and bad. So, in a way, our sanctimonious eBay - by depriving these legitimate black collectors of wanted merchandise - are themselves participating in hateful and discriminatory activity.
