Your content is insecure.
I have no idea what this message on my selling page means. "In order to switch to the rich text editor, you need to fix the insecure content in your description." What is "Rich Text Editor" & what is "Insecure Content" of my description. Thanks in advance for any help.

Yep - this is the culprit right here. The turbo-lister ad itself redirects to eBay, but the old link is non-secure.

Source code is highlighted - you can see the http instead of the https (secure):

What do you mean "on my selling page"? Are you creating a listing or is this an existing listing?
It sounds like you may have links in your description. If you do, try removing the links &/or you may be using fonts that require a different text editor. Remove any links & be sure you're using basic fonts, which is all you can use if you're using the new listing tool. At least it's all you can easily use. Can you post a screen shot?

I am trying to create a new listing.

My listing have no links or fonts in it.

have you copied/pasted anything into the listing? are you using sell similar?

eBay is a secure site (Links start with HTTPS). If you try and add a link to your listing using a non-secure (Links start with HTTP), you will get this warning.
Whatever you are attempting to past into your description must have an HTTP link, and needs to be removed, or use the HTTPS version of the link.

Well, your listing certainly has fonts, fonts are used anytime you type.
You'll need to post a screen shot, never heard of or seen this before, sorry. Could be a glitch, try a different item & see if it works.

Yes, I do use Sell Similar from my previous descriptions for my new items.

I meant to say that I am using no fancy fonts. This message has appeared above all of my listing descriptions, lately.

Not using any sort of link in my descriptions.

I've not heard of this particular message before. I think you'll need to post a screen shot. Further, we are not getting other reports of it, so it doesn't seem to be a widespread problem.

Are you using a Template?
10-29-2022 01:18 PM
I'm not using a Template. I'm using Sell a Similar Item from my own previous listings & changing the pictures, the catagories & some of the wording.

Thanks for trying to help. I'm not very computer knowledgeable therefore, posting a screen shot is beyond my capabilities. The message appears above my descriptions when making a new listing using a Sell Similar Item from my previous listings where I just change the pictures, categories, & some wording.
