I'm probably going to accept the return.
If I do, on a "I just don't like it" return, the buyer pays for return shipping, correct?

Yes, if they open a remorse return, they pay return shipping.

Thank you, Ken.
I'm going to accept the return (if they pay return shipping) -or- offer them a $20 partial refund on a $80 item should they decide to keep the item.

Depends on the Category, after July 15th sellers are forced to offer free remorse returns in motors categories.

Yes...
My return gets open automatically because I allow returns.
Buyer never contacted me...LOL
It's my first return.
Don't expect that money any time soon on the return...LOL
eBay opened return on May 14th...buyer has until June 5th to return it.
Never got tracking or the return item...case is still open and funds still on hold for that sale...LOL

That's atypical of ebay's buyer centric anti seller policies.
Buyers have 3 weeks to return something after they open a return request, you as a seller only have 2 days to refund them after you get it back.
Remember, if you sell anything on ebay everything is your fault including covid, the war in Ukraine, and the national deficit.

Check your category. Any remorse returns I've had have required only the cost of the item to be refunded, not the original or return shipping. I usually sell in the collectibles or clothing categories, and they may be different from the one this item was listed under.

I sell stamps and my first remorse return includes original shipping fee which is still open...LOL
