Why isn't there an option at check out or to send a seller a message that you have to click a box stating that you read the description in it's entirety before proceeding?
I have to click through 3 different sub windows to get ahold of an ebay employee. Who needs to constantly remind me that ebay tries to be fair with everyone. How? because I call ebay and talk to a few people and hear different stories from each. There is no consistancy in answers.
That last one is kind of a 2 parter.
Why is there no ebay team that customers can contact to deal with ebay agents that file claims wrong or even give out the incorrect information?
Why aren't people with zero feedback forced to complete a few purchases without the ability to receive or give feedback? You people with zero feedback that could possibly be competetors scamming people (it is an option in your report a buyer section)?
Why do we not get our money back when you side with a buyer who gets banned or suspended a few months down the road because they are a constant problem? That sounds like there should be some kind of class action lawsuit for that type of thing.
You set all these ridiculous rules for sellers to follow and just let us get abused. Pointless cosmetic upgrades that don't make the site more functional to use at all.
You know what happens to all of your top sellers eventually right? They make websites when they get enough of a following and they abandon ebay. You wanna make more money start taking better care of your sellers.
Out of all the auction sites (amazon, let go, alibaba, or whatever, etc Ebay has to be the worst. Not because the others have better layouts but because they have better trained staff and limit the people that abuse the system.
How many times am I going to have a return process started against me and end up not receiving the item back and yet you'll still take my money? For instances like that why can't I report and get help with issues like that right from the message or the Summary? Why do I have to click through 15 menus? No other auction site makes you do this?
Why can so many other sellers violate ebay policies with no repercussions? People report the listings with blantant policy violations and ebay will suspend accounts for that and let others go on abusing. The reason why is, whoever got the report at ebay either did their job, they didn't do their job, or they were ignorant of the violation because they don't even know the policies.
That's so wonderful as a business owner and someone paying thousands a month in ebay fees to get those people on the phone and waste my time.
Because despite all that ebay rhetoric that you guys care and are fair. The statements above which are factual prove otherwise.
ebay doesn't care and their customer service team fails me nearly every time I contact them.

Each of those paragraphs could be an entire thread.

Ok, I was bored at looked at your feedback profile to see if there was indications why you're having problems...
On one of the Negative Positive feedbacks you left a buyer, your listing stated:
"No Shipping to:
ALABAMA
...
WASHINGTON
**********IF YOU PURCHASE PIRANHA AND LIVE IN ANY OF THE STATES ON THE LIST YOUR MONEY WILL BE KEPT AND I WILL SEND YOU A PICTURE OF A PIRANHA THAT I DREW*********"
It appears that you were serious.
I believe you'd have more luck with eBay, if you took the time to learn how to properly use it, and understand the rules for sellers.
Respectfully,
Lynn

Interesting thoughts..
I wanted to point out that i completely agree that zero feedback buyers should be treated differently.
And yes ebay needs a mechanism to know who owns what and which account.
Lets say there is a seller with 10.000 feedback. then he opens another 3 zero feedback accounts and wants to harm someone started selling same item at better price. Opens 3 cases or uses 3 negatives. This is supposed to be a violation of ebay policy resulting in suspension of the 10.000 feedback account.
A zero feedback account should not be able to leave feedback not at all - before reaching at least 100 possitives feedbacks from sellers and having a respected amount of money in transactions.
It should be able to open a case but the case should be "escalated" right away meaning checked by
ebay stuff before comes to seller and then comes to seller only if there is a need. After 100 then normally.
A banned IP adress should be banned for ever. A banned person should be banned forever.
Yes ebay will loose buyers like this. Yes ebay will need to pay extra employees... but yes ebay
will be a safe place and this will result to more sales at the end.

I have an account I opened in 2009. Until last year it had zero feedback. I decided I wanted to use that account. It now has a feedback of 2, and that took SEVEN attempted purchases and actual purchases. Why? FOUR of the sellers CANCELLED my sale because I was a "untrustworthy" zero feedback buyer. One seller didn't leave feedback. The three sellers that actually carried through with my purchases found themselves on the receiving end of multiple repeat purchases totalling a couple hundred dollars. I guess sellers just don't want to sell stuff and make money.
A banned IP adress should be banned for ever. A banned person should be banned forever. My IP changes constantly. No, IPs should not be banned forever and they should not be the sole basis of a ban.

Maybe because people would just check the box and still not read, and then be unhappy about having to waste time checking the box.

I've had to call eBay twice in 16 years. Total time: 7 minutes. What's the problem?
Why aren't people with zero feedback forced to complete a few purchases without the ability to receive or give feedback?
So it would be OK to screw newbies? Right.

Doesn't prove that eBay's decision was wrong in your case. Right, everything is a class action.
You know what happens to all of your top sellers eventually right? They make websites when they get enough of a following and they abandon ebay. You wanna make more money start taking better care of your sellers.
We've been hearing that since the early 2000's.

Amazon isn't an auction site. I've never tried alibaba; not in a hurry to do it.
That's so wonderful as a business owner and someone paying thousands a month in ebay fees to get those people on the phone and waste my time.
You're not paying anything close to thousands a month in fees. You must barely be scraping $100. Why is someone with fewer than 15 sales/month having so many problems?

Probably because they know buyers would just check it without reading it anyway, like people do with user agreements.
Why is there no ebay team that customers can contact to deal with ebay agents that file claims wrong or even give out the incorrect information?
Because that would cost eBay money and eBay probably sees no need for it.
Why aren't people with zero feedback forced to complete a few purchases without the ability to receive or give feedback?
Because that would give buyers the impression that eBay dsoes not trust them, and eBay probably sees no need for it.
Why do we not get our money back when you side with a buyer who gets banned or suspended a few months down the road because they are a constant problem?
eBay has no legal way to get the money back from the buyer, so that would cost eBay money and eBay probably sees no need for it.
Out of all the auction sites (amazon, let go, alibaba, or whatever, etc) Ebay has to be the worst.
Neither Amazon nor Let Go is an auction site.
ebay doesn't care and their customer service team fails me nearly every time I contact them.
That seems to have been true for a decade at least.

I can't even fathom why Ebay allows sellers who break the rules to keep selling.
