I am experiencing the infamous "infinite scroll"

This design choice can make it challenging to access links at the bottom.

Standard web development practices:

1. Footer fixed positioning: Some websites use a fixed or sticky footer, keeping links accessible at all times.
2. Anchor links: eBay could use anchor links to jump to specific sections, bypassing the infinite scroll.
3. Scroll-to-bottom buttons: Some sites include buttons that take you directly to the bottom.

I know some workarounds, but I shouldn't have to.

Re: I am experiencing the infamous "infinite scroll"

i was looking at a listing a couple days ago and decided to scroll to the bottom for a link since I was already close.

Got close to the bottom and it just keep adding promoted listings.

I bet there was 50 rows or more before reaching the bottom.

Have A Great Day.

Doesn't "page down" on the keyboard work for that?

@dhbookds

As I said in the post I know the workaround, but I shouldn't have to do any.

You're comparing keyboards to an online site? Like comparing bananas to deer antlers.

Re: I am experiencing the infamous "infinite scroll"

I curious about what links one would want that are at the bottom of a listing page?

I like the title of your post because at first I thought it was going to address the constant quote button pushers on the forum.

    That drives me nuts!!!

Like this??? 🤤

At any rate, the infinite scrolling bothers me because it shows so many dayumed adds on our listings - row after row after row...I lost count finally. It's just absurd. I'm on the verge of creating a template where I use 96 point type so I have a big massive chunk of real estate on my listings with MY personal drivel and push that other crap down a ways.

Re: I am experiencing the infamous "infinite scroll"

Category used to be at the top, and they moved it to the bottom, and then added infinite sponsored ads that keep reloading the same ads over and over so you never reach the bottom of the page.
