I Just had a Buyer try to Hustle me on a $6. item. What a joke. I do not know whether to laugh or feel bad for the sap. It really is a sad Day on Ebay when someone tries to Hustle you on a $6. item. Unfortunately it happens all the time. It's an insult and I am starting to report everyone of these Hustlers, whether is it $1. or $20.

It was a Antique Carter's Inkwell Bottle with the Top. He  got the package in 2 Days from Purchase and said " The Top wasn't in the Shipping Box ". I know he's lying and He knows he is lying but it's a Hustle for a discount. Happens all the time.

What I am saying in a Nut shell is this type of Hustle happens to sellers on a daily basis. Most of it goes on unreported because it is easier just to shut them up with a discount even though they are lying through their teeth.

Maybe you wrapped it separately and he didn’t notice it?

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

It was shipped in a 4"x4"x6" box. Unless he was Blind I highly doubt it. It's a Hustle.... You can't teach an old dog new tricks.

The sad thing is He's using a Ebay Pass on a petty $6. That is just down right sad. I am not even entertaining the thought of a discount or refund.

Why would they want to hustle YOU for $6?

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

Right... That's my point. Some people just like to do that.

If they file an INAD, you won't have a choice.

Have a great day.

My guess is it such a low priced item they think the seller will fold so they do not get negative feedback.

Yes buyers will try this all the time no matter the monetary amount of the item. Some don't even mention money or a partial, they simply have a small little gripe because some sellers will just give a partial refund soon as a buyer has any lil ol complaint. I would say return for refund if there is an issue. To some that doesn't make sense on lower valued items, but personally I would rather lose money on shipping then give a lying piece of **bleep** anything for free or discounted! To me it's a matter of principle and I absolutely refuse to give a liar anything. Now someone with a genuine issue is a different matter, but those just fishing for partials usually go away when you advise they'll have to return.

Read the feedback they left for other sellers, that's the way I can tell if a crook.

Yes it does happen all the time.

I used to work in a thrift store where CD's and DVD's were a dollar, books were 50 cents, etc. Every day I'd have customers complain about the high prices and try and deal me down. Cuz darnit, I owe them!

That was that environment and the buyers it attracts, and this  here can be much the same, especially for inexpensive stuff. There is a certain type of buyer that wants to WIN. They feed off the bottom. This is a lifestyle for some folks...
