They may be wondering if it's made from cotton jersey or just regular woven cotton, but it's not a question I would touch and I sell clothing for a living - it's too subjective.

Weird question on a clothing item translates to instant add to block list for me. The pool of clothing buyers is infinite and clothing is a high return item as it is, you don't want to sell to someone who telegraphs their future return or INAD in advance.

Glad I'm not the only one

I'm also glad I'm not the only one who would rather not entertain foolishness that could easily turn into an INAD hassle and loss. With a question like this, my BBL is my friend. Harsh? - maybe... but my time is more valuable than to ask for potential problems with such a question. Been there, done that.

I think enough sellers have been through the loop enough to be able to tell when something is going to happen if they make a sale to someone with such questions etc... I don't believe sellers are just happy to just blow a sale off, especially with the sites poor sales going on now. It's not harsh to make a judgement call that may cost you a lot of grief later if didn't.
And it only gets worse since that conclusion...

Block buyer and no response. Most likely will be a return.

I'd answer this question by making the potential buyer the latest addition to my Blocked Buyers List.

Look at the FB they have left. Could be a fussy buyer.
On the other hand, they might just want a t that will hold up in edged weapon combat.
