How to sell fast on eBay

Hello, how do I sell fast on ebay and make my item appear first in searches?

I have a bunch of the "rare" black diamond Disney VHS tapes, the very ones that people list at such ridiculous prices, including this one. My son watches them all the time. It's kind of funny when people list things based on what others are listed for, rather than clicking on sold items and seeing what any have actually sold for. I guess listing them at these kind of prices gives some sort of lottery type hope.

But, but, but...think of the FVF's on that sale.   And if the seller does something wrong or untrustworthy buyer sees that feedback number and, well, you know, those fees still go in the till.

What is the FVFs capped at. Wasn’t it $750? Has that changed or was it never that?
Either way yes eBay still makes the money.

I think the FVFs are capped; I just have no idea how much or if it is still the case.  It's a big chunk o' change, either way.

Exactly what I was wondering! I went over my selling amount $ limit on a new selling account with a variation listing... No where near 19k! So how did OP do this?

A FRIEND OF MINE LIST EVERTHING FOR 99 CENTS AND GIVES FAIR SHIPPING PRICES. HE IS DOING QUIT WELL FOR HIMSELF ,,,

How to sell fast?

Have unique items that people will want, create a well described listing with all pertinent information a buyer needs, use a title that has the keywords that buyer's will use to search, have many clear, distinct photos, be sure to list any damage or flaws or wear, measurements, have a modest price, and you may be able to sell fast.

Yup! I`d actually have to win the lottery to be able to blow 19k on a few VHS tapes. I`d probably do something crazy with the money instead, like pay bills or something LOL.

The cap on FVF is 250.00 dollars for traditional commerce items. Not sure about automotive or business categories which I think are different.

With 3 watching the $19,000 disney tapes they probably think they have some interest not realizing it probably is most likely people from the board that actually have no interest in it but to see if the listing gets revised.

It’s probably other noobs wanting to see if it sells for that much then they’ll list theirs and it goes on and on....
