how do I sell fast on ebay
Just make sure:
A good example would be to sell $100 bills for $20. I bet those would sell fast!
and make my item appear first in searches?
Even if there was a "secret" that made your item appear first ... if ten people used that secret, then nine of them would fail because only one item can be first. It is simply impossible to make your item always appears first in searches.

Price it cheaper than your competitors.

I have actually seen that.
I have seen those red $5 bills and old $2 bills go for less than face value.

The answer is at the top of this staircase.

it's a best offer. If someone could just come close they would accept
and I don't see why a seller with 1 feedback is allowed to list an item at 19K

ikr...what happened to new seller limits like the ten item $500 limit I got when I first opened my third account??
It's sheer insanity to allow a new seller to list something with a price that high.

Price all your items at $1 with free shipping.

One thing you may want to do is put 'NEW' at the end of your listing. Put the most relevant key words first.
As to selling lots of items fast and getting to the top, that is the mystery question we all strive to answer on a daily basis.
Good luck to you 🙂

I find it hard to believe someone is going to pay 19k to a seller with a 1 FB.
Maybe it was a typo by the OP when they were listing and maybe they meant it to be $19.00 or $190.00 instead of 19K? Then again, maybe it's some very rare item to be found no where else.

Could be a way to get offers without starting a low auction hoping someone will bid it up to a satisfactory amount.
"Offers" would be a way to get to a "reserve" without paying a reserve fee.
Either way, 19K seems a bit overpriced, but then again, they are cutting the buyer a break on the cost of shipping. Not sure how they will ship 7 VHS tapes for $3.80, but if the offer is good enough they can eat a little shipping

Must be one of those who believe in the urban legend that Disney movies are selling for 10s of thousands of dollars.

Sell via auction - free priority mail shipping, guaranteed delivery, free return shipping, opening bid at .01 U.S. cents. I believe that would put you number 1 for most items. Not sure you wouldn't go bankrupt unfortunately.
