How to remove static Announcements from 2016 on my selling page?

I am wondering if anyone else has this Announcement section on their selling page.

I have to scroll down over it to my Promotional offers. It is static , not at all active with three announcements from 2016.  I asked ebay if there was any way to remove it and they had no solution. I also aked them if everyone had this section and they didn't answer, so that is why I'm writing.  I would appreciate hearing from other sellers , thanks.

You can move that section down to the bottom of your page by using the up/down icons located at the top right of the announcement section.

There are no edits or arrows on the bar! Nothing to control it.

I still have three Oct. 2016 announcements at the bottom of "My eBay" page....I have talked to CS numerous times to see how to delete them....they have no clue what I am talking about...and I have tried every angle to delete...no luck, so, I just don't scroll down to the bottom anymore.

They show for me, Don't know why they don't for you.

Maybe reducing your screen size will bring them back into view.

Are there icons on your other bars? Try using those to move the announcement section down.

I got promotional offers and saved drafts to move up so now at least it is at the bottom of the page.  Thank you for your suggestion!

Haven't received  a new one since 10/24/ 2016 

In ebay's  move to force the seller hub on everyone they discontinued updates back then to the my selling page.

Note that that method COULD also disappear other content as Adblock Plus (at least the older versions I use) don't permit highly specific targeting (ie: targeting only the All Selling or Summary page and not all My eBay pages), and the selector in the rule isn't super specific (eBay very well could use that same generic page structue and element for another notification too)

It's a compromise solution.

If using a CSS approach via Stylish in Firefox, the removal can be more targeted. Using Greasemonkey and JS, an almost perfect solution is possible, but the annoyance level of seeing the old announcements isn't worth the effort of writing a couple hundred lines of code (that no one else would use anyway - plus I personally don't use that eBay page any more or see the announcement section)

I remember it getting stuck back in 2016, for me but it was in early 2017. It was a glitch back then, so they said.
Try clearing cookies and cache.
Try a different browser.
If using IE, that’s probably the cause.

I use Firefox (multiple versions 3.6.24, 11, 21, 31, 40, 52), Opera 11 Portable, Edge and Opera Mini on my phone, and it's been stuck with three unchanging Oct 2016 announcements since then in all of them.

Happens in fresh, clean, empty instances and in private browsing mode too.

It isn't a cookie or cache issue. More likely account related.

Here's mine.  Maybe they can get around to removing it in another couple of years.  So annoying.

You may nor have been wrong about it then. It may have been a glitch that the cookie/cache thing resolved due to eBay pushing out changed code, but just doesn't seem to be the case now. It's either spreading, or more are noticing it.

I dealt with it with CSS in Stylish addon in Firefox when I was using that page - just disappeared it. It was mostly useless anyway - rarely anything there in a timely fashion. Haven't worried about it since I switched over to a combination of Active Selling, and Selling Manager in Summary mode in another tab.
