How to leave a message for buyers in Ebay's automated emails after a sale

Hello! 

  When I purchase items on eBay, I often see a message from the seller at the bottom of the order confirmation email and the shipping email.  However, as a seller, I can't seem to figure out where/how to do that.  I don't want to send an additional email to my buyers, but if I could just add a little message in the email that eBay already sends to them, then I would like to do so.  Do I have to have an eBay store or a third party tool of some sort to do this?

  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Go to your Site Preferences.  Then look on the left side of your screen and click on the tab for communications.  You should be able to find what you are looking for there.
