Well, I see you've never sold anything. Thanks for the tips, though.

Ok. You can get a lot of impressions, but not make any sales. I will like to know how to make more sales, if you are willing to share your experience about how to improve sales, I am listening.

Two listings and no sales. Me thinks someone is trying to get folks to look at their listings. It worked, I looked, no sale.

eBay offers many suggestions to help improve your chances of selling an item. You noted some of them. Lots of great suggestions have been posted here on the Selling board which you can read if you search back through previous posts.
If you work hard at increasing your listings, acquire inventory that buyers want to purchase, establish a stellar selling record and treat your buyers with respect you can become a successful business on eBay.
Welcome to the Community Boards. Wishing you all the best!

I would rather see cosmetics made in Sri Lanka than dropshipped from China, the Counterfeit Capitol of the World. I wonder what they put in their cosmetics? They put toxic ingredients in pet food and baby formula so I would not trust their cosmetics.

actually none of that will improve impressions - except listing something everyday can help in the newly listed searches. The rest is just mix of good business practice, common sense, and your #5 is irrelevant since it's up to ebay to decide to remove bad feedback not you.

Sometimes increase listings impressions will decreasing gradually the listings impressions for long term especially if your listings don't have enough engagements from the buyers like (low CTR & SCR rates- listings with short duration time views...etc).
Try to choose keywords that will make the buyers interactive with your listings, don't a count on general keywords alone, narrow your niche by choosing specific keywords...etc.

Also, views & impressions are different things. You can't really do anything to improve impressions. You can however do things to improve views.

Thanks Mr. Rocket scientist. Did Ebay pay you tell us that sage advice?

How can so many people offer free shipping? My profit margins are already typical very low. On many items I would lose money offering free shipping, especially is you’ve spent money to promote it and the buyer is 3000 miles away.

It's actually pretty simple. Most sellers just bake the shipping cost into their item price figuring the worst case scenario. Like you I am on the east coast so that would mean calculating the cost to ship an item to CA adding the FVF's to that amount and baking it into the price. For some unexplained reason a lot of buyers get the impression they are not paying for shipping.
However, if I was to do that it would inflate the total price to any potential buyers on the east coast or mid-west areas where most of my sales actually occur. The other disadvantage for the buyer is a lot of states do not charge sales tax on shipping as long as it can be clearly identified as being separate from the item cost. The only time I use free shipping is when I know there is only one cheapest method to ship an item to a buyer regardless of where they live. This usually involves heavy items that I can put into a flat rate box or flat rate envelope.

I have never worried about improving impressions, views or watchers. My only concern is sales. A few comments.
