Do you put the tracking on "each" of the 10 items?
Doing one scan for a package would be wrong.

You have to add the tracking numbers to the eBay platform for each of the items. It's not the responsibility of eBay to go to USPS and fish around for the tracking history. They purposely want you to add the tracking number to each sale so the history becomes part of the transaction.

eBay doesn't go to USPS website to search tracking numbers. eBay is basically automated and run by bots or a computer generated AI. Those bots or AI look at what is posted on the eBay site and no where else.
It is your responsibility as a seller to ensure tracking numbers are posted with the orders whether you are purchasing your labels on eBay or elsewhere. So if your buyer purchases more than one item and you combine shipping the tracking numbers should be applied to each order.
If not, you will get defects for each item for not shipping within your handling time and a defect for each for late shipping.

you have been here long enough as a seller to know what to do to protect yourself and have a safe secure sales transaction.

We need you to participate and answer questions so we can help you. If you made a mistake and did not upload tracking on each transaction, let us know. We all make mistakes, so don't worry about that, but we have to know what actually transpired to give you accurate advice.

I made zero mistakes. The ship label was printed off of ebay. All 10 had the same correct tracking number. The remaining nine had the tracking number entered manually as well as manually notating item shipped after printing the master label on the first item. This was done 12 hours after the sale on the next business day in the morning on ebays website. When ebay showed no tracking history, I went directly to USPS.COM to enter the tracking number & see what they showed for tracking history. This is why I went to the USPS website. To get proof that ebays system was & is wrong.

Did you get this notification just recently - like in the last day or so? More than once I've lags in information transmitting from USPS and showing up on eBay - I'm sorry, I can't give you exact time lag, but it was on the order of a day at any rate.

Don't add the tracking individually. You need to combine them all together into one package. If the buyer has already paid, combine all the paid orders. If the buyer hasn't paid yet, combine the orders and send an invoice.
***Buyer HAS paid***
1. Go to your awaiting shipment page: https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:AWAITING_SHIPMENT
2. Select the items you want to combine, then click print shipping label from the drop down menu. This will show all your items together as one package with one tracking number.
3. Make your weight adjustments so you can print the label with the correct postage.
4. Print your label.
***Buyer HAS NOT paid***
Combine the orders and send an invoice:
Find the items you’re wanting to combine payments for:
1. In Seller Hub, select Orders https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS In My eBay, select Sold https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
2. Use the drop down menu to the right of the item to select send invoice next to one of the items you’d like to include in the invoice.
3. On the next page, all items purchased by that buyer will be shown.
4. Adjust shipping charges.
5. Enter a message to the buyer if you wish.
6. To preview the invoice, select Preview invoice before sending.
7. To send the invoice, select Send invoice.

I never said you made any "mistakes", there is no need to be defensive. There were some details left out of your original story and without them it will affect the accuracy of any advice any of us might give you.
I didn't question if the tracking number was correct, just if it was entered into Ebay on all 10 transactions.
Ebay's system does not operated on real time. Periodically during any 24 hour period Ebay updates tracking from their various carriers.

you would have had to do a combined invoice for them.

Entering the same tracking number on each order to the same buyer works.
It is about the only solution which works when the buyer has paid for all of the items separately on all Ebay platforms.
Other solutions sometimes work.
If when you drop your package at the PO you often get a USPS in Possession of Package scan which is not always accepted as an acceptance scan. If there is a long delay before the next scan you may see the metrics hit.
Especially if Ebay is adding its own latency to detecting the tracking information.
Since you are still top rated, it is not likely this is a serious problem, unless Ebay shows you will lose TRS if rated today.

Which is why i don't offer to combine shipping. Good for the buyer, risky for the seller.

Not normally @az93 . I think you are reaching for a reason not to offer it. The problem the OP is having is not a normal problem. Combined shipping is also good for both the buyer and the seller. Often times the seller ends up with a repeat customer.
