How to end automatic resisting?

Help!  How do I end automatic relisting of an item I'm selling on Ebay?  This is very frustrating and I will not sell on Ebay again until this is fixed.  Tried all the suggestions...nothing works!

It should not be rocket science to manually relist an item!

You can't set up listings to NOT relist if they are 'Buy It Now' as all 'Buy It Now' are GTC (Good till cancelled 30 days at a time; meaning they relist using the same item number for search engines to find your item etc.)

So, you have to 'manually' end any 'buy it now'' items:

Go to My Ebay

Click 'Active Listings'

Checkmark either a particular item or the box at the top of the list (it will check all items) and then click 'Action'

Click 'End' or 'End item'

Follow prompts to complete

Fixed price items automatically relist forever under a program called Good Till Cancelled (GTC).  For auctions there used to be a checkbox that would allow the item to relist up to 8 times f it did not sell.

I haven't run an auction for a long while so I don't know if having a BIN option on an auction listing triggers the GTC rule.

OP is running auctions. GTC does not apply.

I suppose the next question is "Why wouldn't you want them to automatically relist?"  Perhaps if we knew that we could offer more advice.

When I list an auction, eBay presents the following checkbox on the listing creation page:

"Automatically relist this item up to 8 times if it doesn't sell. No insertion or optional listing upgrade fees for each relist."

Make sure that isn't checked.
