How to change shipping from UPS to USPS?

I listed an item for sale and selected UPS as shipping method. Now it is sold and I no longer want to ship using UPS. When I tried to print out shipping label, I was routed to print a UPS shipping label. No other options for shipping. Can I print out USPS/FEDEX shipping label instead of UPS though eBay?

You can't just go and change shipping carrier because you want to.
You chose UPS when you made the listing so on this particular item you need to ship it by UPS.

Nope. If the buyer is ok with you switching carriers, you have to buy the label from PayPal.

Probably you are being directed to UPS because your most recent listing offered UPS Ground as the only shipping option.

But before you change carriers, you should check with the buyer. Some have very strong preferences about carriers. And some must use a different address, such as those who must use a PO Box for USPS deliveries.

Not sure why you aren't seeing all choices.

I have routinely switched carriers, in particular from FedEx Ground to USPS Priority.

One time I was presented ONLY with FedEx, even thought I had described USPS.

It turned out that something was down, and the only choice ebay labels could see was FedEx.  I waited a while, and the other choices returned.

I hope by Fed Ex/USPS you're not talking Surepost? That takes forever and would be considered a downgrade from anything UPS offers (except their version of Surepost).

Plus if something gets broken or lost between the two carriers it is a giant pain to get things fixed.

THe original shipping method I listed in the auction is UPS Surepost.
