I sold a Pyrex refrigerator dish but sent the wrong one. They are identical except for size. I mistakenly listed the larger one for $23. I sent the smaller one for $23. The larger one I would have listed for $35.
I want the buyer to be happy and I am willing to send the larger one to make things right. I would be willing to let buyer keep the one I sent.
Your thoughts?

If it was a NAD return could the seller issue an immediate refund and the case would close without damaging the seller's account? (seller would lose the payment and the item).
If the seller wishes to make good with the buyer, seller could then send the correct item using an off-eBay shipping service like Pirate ship. (seller loses 2 items plus shipping costs - I actually did this once with a repeat buyer).

Out both item and the payment.
Doable, but can do better, by at least having the payment for one item and probably a satisfied customer😁

@tobaccocardyahoo wrote:You have done a reasonable thing to satisfy a buyer but if a Not As Described case was opened leave yourself at risk with Ebay procedures.
An automatic return label was generated, if you agreed to accept the return, and should the buyer use it to return one of the bowls, she will have the one she keeps for free.
Rational and reasonable customer service actions which differ from the model of accept a return and refund often go wrong.
If you have good rapport with the buyer and they are reasonable and honest people, you will not have any issues, but not all Ebay buyers are reasonable and honest.
The cost of the small bowl is a small price to pay to correct your error and have a happy buyer,
An "automatic return label" only gets generated if the seller has their Return preferences set up to automatically approve INADs filed. If they don't have that set up, then when the seller accepts the return, a return shipping label is issued if the seller wants the item returned.

If the seller did this, they would be out both dishes and the money too. To me, doesn't sound like a deal I'd want to do.

As Jack said, I was looking to avoid a complete and total loss for @strugglinlikeyou while still making the buyer happy. Another option is the seller can refund 100% through the return request without requiring the buyer to send anything back. They keep the small dish for free.
Then the seller can list the large dish (add best offer so the buyer can make an offer for the same price they originally paid for the small one) and tell the buyer they can place a new order. Buyer may or may not place a new order once they get the smaller dish for free, but at least the seller would still have the large dish to sell for the price they want.

That is what I said. Your point is what?
