How do I attach a PDF file in the body of my listing. For example, to include a user guide/manual for the listed item.
Thanks in advance for the response.

"I will email the winning bidder a PDF file of the user manual."

It's likely unless you have the copyright to the manual (which is doubtful) it's against the law for you to make PDF of it. I'm sure people do such things but eBay is a public platform and you could be held accountable for your actions....

Still against the law...

I don't think it is against any law. I have often misplaced manuals for fridges, ovens etc, I just google and download the relevant pdf.
Anyone can google a help manual for almost any product available so I do not see how it could be enforceable by law to disallow that.

Dear customer,
Here is a link to the PDF file of your GE water heater model number GE40S12BLM owners manual from the GE website:

What would be the point of a PDF file of the user guide/manual? The only person who will need that will be the actual buyer and you could easily just enclose it in the package when you ship the item.

I agree, just put a note on listing stating that buyer will be provided a PDF of manual
easy peasy 😁

Yes, that is legal you're getting it from the owner of the copyright.

The fastest way is to choose a website to store data and copy the link through the product description :))

I am new to selling on ebay, but, anytime I sell something that has a user manual, I will find it online, print it, put it in acetate sheets in a nice lil binder and include it as part of my sale. Many a buyer has been impressed by my practice of doing this.

Of course if I had one. I am thinking that I DO NOT HAVE ONE> Many used items dont come with the manual.

I'm impressed and I'm not even a buyer. 😉

Not allowed. I used to attach links to manuals for my old tech and a couple of years ago had to remove all of them - despite their being https.
