I am leaving for four days but want to keep sales going. I will change the handling time to 4 or maybe 5 day handling(I have heard you get a yellow flag on your listing though with 5 day... true or not?). I typically do same day shipping and this is something I state in all my listings. Is there a way to insert a message across the top of all listings that shipping will not be same day? I do not really want to put it on vacation mode( apparently now called "Time Away" ). Probably not a way to insert a message other than time away mode, but even still, I just looked at time away mode and do not see an option to insert a message. I only see the ability to send people a message who contact me that I am on time away.

You can put your items in Time Away mode while you are gone.
While in time away mode, you can leave your items visible to be purchased or hide them while gone.
If you leave them visible it does tell the Buyer you are away and could have a delay in processing.

Go to Seller Hub on the Overview Tab
Select Time Away from your settings on the right. Enter dates to apply. Enjoy your time away!

Depending on number of live listings you have you could use Bulk edit from Sellers Hub. As a test you could do in small blocks and just reverse on your return.

Ok I just went ahead and used Time Away... apparently there is no other way to bulk edit a message into your listings. i really wish Ebay would implement a way to do this.

You have many items that state 'same day shipping' in caps right in the title. This could become a problem regardless of your 'time away'...

This message now appears on your listings. “Time away” IS the way to bulk add a message to all your listings.

Yes, we all know buyers don't read everything on the listing page.
This could really be a problem. I think it's better to hide listings while one is away. Time will tell in this case.

We use time away and never had one issue. Of course. it might depend on your customer base.

Yes. The op will only be away for a few days, it should be fine.
The issue I was commenting on was the mention they have ‘same day shipping’ in the titles of some listings.
Those are the listings that could be the hitch. With that, in some cases, it might be prudent to hide one’s listings when setting time away.
As always, sellers must make their own decisions about their business. @leareamc may not have realized this discrepancy and that is why I pointed it out.

I agree and also feel it has to do with ones customer base. If they can't read or refuse to that is on them. We have never gotten a ding from eBay and advertise one day shipping. We use the feature on 13 days or less, if we are gone longer, yep hide them.
