I have a question about how to respond.

 

Buyer left me grossly incorrect feedback, about not getting said item when he has never purchases said item only made a declined offer, and not even on an item involved.

 

Not sure how to reply since  eBay does not pay attention since they  refused to remove despte this being pointed out to them.

How to Reply

So,  Buyer leaves FB for an item.     In the feedback he mentions

not getting an item that he didn't purchase to start with.

 

That neutral will fall off the front page very quickly.    It wouldn't stop 

me from buying from you.

 

  Respond to it and make it even more visibleor  Ignore it.

 

"I'm sorry for the confusion.    I don't see where 

you've purchased a second note from me"

How to Reply

Are you referring to the neutral you received?  If so, I would not respond.  It doesn't hurt you, and responding will only draw attention to it.

Responding to it may give it more credence/attention than it deserves. I would agree with the others @ellenshideout . It will get buried in the mix and most would not pay attention to it. Yes, it is frustrating and does look like the buyer left the feedback for you that may have been directed to another seller.

I am sorry this happened to you. It appears the feedback was intended for another seller.

However, it is only a neutral so I would ignore it to not draw attention to it.

I recently had a buyer leave me a negative because a spray can did not work properly. I sold them a lipstick.

My feedback score was severely impacted so I did respond.

"I want all of my customers to be happy with their purchase and will do my best to rectify any issues. This product was a liquid lipstick that is applied with a doe foot. Perhaps the feedback was meant for another seller?"

Another question about how to reply.


A buyer I suspect us trying to con me. They have 1 feedback just from me and cancelled right away. But claiming they only got a small part of it.

 

Interesting character and suspicious considering instead of a 1st name he has a cussword.

 

Recipet for order shows the entire amount was refunded.

Be thankful that neutral feedback is all you got.

The buyer could have filed a (not as described) and received a full refund from you in addition to leaving you that feedback.

I'd say you lucked out.

Whole point you missed. The item they are saying never arrived they NEVER bought, that item I have not had in a long time. 

 

Fraud on eBay is rampant racked up almost 100 this year and Its only late May. Trying to figure out how to block 0 feedback buyers since all these people had 0 feedback.

They could not have left feedback if they had not made a purchase from you. I’m confused by the sequence of events.

 

 Edit: I see you said they canceled, but did they actually request to cancel, or did you cancel the order for another reason?

They did make other purchases of other items and those they got without issue.  The feedback is abut the missing item as feedback for a different item they did buy and receive. But the one in question  was never purchased by them from me at least. Even went back to item that sold to someone else and they never made an offer.

I am done after for the day. Stick a fork with me I am tired.

 

Just today:

Had this buyer to deal with.

Buyer trying to con me into thinking they did not get a refund when order page shows they did.

And repeat best buyer just bought 38 of one item but did 38 orders of one each, out $11.10. 

 

I am trying to enjoy my long deserved vacation best part of working in education. Oy as my mom would say things come in 3's.
