Well crud, have a nice listing almost done, get to the starting bid line & there's a "C" in that spot. I want US dollars there. How to change this? Thanks much.

Sounds like you are logged into ebay.ca

You must have logged in eBay.ca (Canada) instead of eBay .com. I looked at what you have for sale and see in US $'s.
Sometimes when doing a random google search, I will run across an item that I check out and when I look at it, will show in CA$ not US$'s. This desk top has never been to Canada, I don't look at eBay.ca too often so have no clue why it would show me items priced using Canadian $'s. If I take that item number and open eBay.com I see it in US$'s.
Check your address shown in the search bar and change to correct format.

I have found that you need to change this URL before it redirects:
https://www.ebay.ca/lstng?mode=SellLikeItem&itemId=<ListingID>
to
https://www.ebay.com/lstng?mode=SellLikeItem&itemId=<ListingID>
(ListingID needs to be changed to the one you're trying to sell)

You would have to sign out of .ca and start the listing again on .com. Once you have started a listing on one site, the site can’t be changed.
This often happens when you do a ‘sell similar’ listing that was originally listed on another site. It will automatically list on the original site.
